Absolutely a card technique you've never seen before.
This is an original card technique I developed that lets the spectator decide where two packets are interlaced, followed by a push-through handling to complete the cut. It can be used to cut to all four Aces or other target cards. Here are two routines using this technique:
Forklift Match: The spectator freely selects two cards. The magician splits the deck in two and lets the spectator decide where the two packets are interlaced. The magician then cuts the deck into three packets, with the top and bottom cards of the three packets revealing the two original selections.
Forklift Four Aces: A spectator-cut routine where the spectator decides how the packets are interlaced, ultimately allowing the magician to cut directly to all four Aces.
Performance transcript:
- Next, riffle through the deck and have the spectator call stop twice to select two cards.
- Have the spectator remember both cards.
- Next, I'm going to shuffle the two packets together.
- But I'll let the spectator decide where they're interlaced.
- I move the cards like this and have the spectator call stop anywhere.
- Let's say they stop here.
- I shuffle the cards in at the stop point.
- This is the upper packet they stopped at.
- The cards are shuffled into the second and third packets.
- The spectator's first selection is a 7.
- The top cards of the three packets are all 7s.
- The spectator's second selection is a J.
- The bottom cards of the three packets are the other three Jacks.
