A variation on the classic Invisible Palm plot. A powerful visual effect performed with just a few playing cards.
Performance transcript:
- This trick uses six cards: two Aces and four Kings.
- But the King of Spades is the important one.
- Because Spades are the leader of the suits.
- This King of Spades will guide the other Kings to its location.
- First, I table the King of Spades.
- The other Kings stay aside.
- Here are two Aces.
- First, I take a King and place it between the two Aces.
- Now imagine that at this moment the King becomes invisible.
- You can't see it in my palm.
- So I can move that King next to the King of Spades.
- Two Kings.
- And the original three-card packet is now just the two Aces.
- Two Kings on the table.
- Now we take another King and insert it between the two Aces.
- Again, at that instant the King becomes invisible.
- Hidden in my hand, it travels to this position.
- One, two, three—three Kings.
- And here there are still only two Aces.
- Place the three Kings on the table.
- Take the last King and insert it between the two Aces.
- But you've already seen that effect twice, so let's do something different.
- I take the King of Spades and place it between the two Aces.
- Since Spades lead the suits, it guides the other Kings to its position.
- At that instant all the Kings gather on the same side.
- And here there are only the two Aces left.
