Please note that the instructions are purely visual, no spoken words.

This is a very subtle method to find a freely chosen (not forced) card. It needs some prior preparation, but the deck (cards) are not altered in any way. After the effect there is nothing left to detect and the cards can be handed out or given away.

The method to locate the chosen card is not sleight-of-hand based. But to present it properly you will need some basic card handling skills such as shuffling, cutting, and spreading cards. Depending on how you choose to produce the chosen card you may need to be able to cull...

This is a new "Oil and Water" routine in which the magic happens in a mysterious way because each movement of the magician is really very slow and clear.

All begins with 4 mixed pairs of cards, one red and one black, being shown and put on the table. Then the magician simply shows the first four cards on top, and all their suits become magically the same color.

Now the magician will alternate on the table, not only red and black suits but also face up and face down cards. When he squares the deck, just a few seconds later, again the cards mysteriously have separated themselves into red...

This is an Ackerman variation of the Zarrow Shuffle to eliminate the initial center block cut of the classic Zarrow Shuffle.

Borrow any bill (any currency), hold it in your hand, attach the bill to the card and it will start to rise. Simple, visual and a clear effect.

This is a color change by Max Malini. A slap on the face of the deck changes the card.

A visual vanish of a playing card which looks like real magic. The gimmick can be made in a few minutes.

An envelope is shown and a single card removed from inside, but not shown. The envelope is otherwise empty. This card is a prediction and is replaced into the envelope and left in view. Six Jumbo cards are freely and openly displayed and various spectators are asked to choose any of the cards to eliminate until just one is left.

Despite the fact that there is genuinely no force or selection control, the prediction card exactly matches the randomly arrived at selection.

This direct effect is ideal for a close-up or parlor show.

A card keeps rising to the top from in between four blank cards, only to reveal that you have a few helpers: THE FOUR JOKERS!

Simple Collectors is Peter's take on the original Collectors plot. Three cards are selected by three spectators, and after they have remembered their selections the cards are lost in the deck. The magician shows the four kings and also randomly distributes these throughout the deck. With a snap of the fingers the magic happens, and the magician spreads the cards out on the table. In between the 4 Kings; 3 Cards assembled themselves. The Three selected cards.

You will need a little bit of wax.

This is a classic Dingle - strong magic but not easy. Four coins travel magically from the performer's hand to the spectator's hand. Brilliant routining from a master.

Two coins are shown and can be examined if required. They can also be borrowed if preferred. One of them has a sticker bearing a spectator's initials placed on it. A handkerchief is placed over the signed coin and the plain one is positioned on top of the cloth which is folded back across it. A wave of a magic marker pen across the handkerchief, and immediately the cloth is unfolded to reveal that the signed coin is now resting on top of the handkerchief, and on the table below the cloth is the unsigned one.

Simple to do, this requires one common coin gimmick.

Borrow a coin. Get it signed and bend it in your hand. It is a clear and strong effect. Titanas explains two different variations which can be performed standing.

The video is shot for my taste from a bit too far, particularly in the demonstration part the coin is hard to see. However, the explanation is clear and should not cause any difficulties for you to learn this wonderful effect.

This is a well thought out Dai Vernon version of the Glide. Every finger position and movement has its reason. The Glide is not necessarily the most deceptive move, but it is easy to do. This version is very deceptive. As is so often the case, Vernon elevates a simple move to a masterpiece of deception.
