An infallible multiple predictions-effect with an incredible climax. Everything is done with a normal deck of cards.

A card is selected and outjogged from a deck which is then put on the table. Now, you bring out a packet of five prediction cards that you show to have all red backs and fronts (all different), saying one of them must be the selection.

You explain that the cards will help you, not to find the right one, but to eliminate the four wrong ones!

After some magical gesture:

• One card gets a cross drawn onto its face.
• The back of a second card turns blue.
• A third card reverses itself.
• A message appears on the back of a fourth card saying: "NOT THIS ONE!".

The final wave is a very visual card routine. It requires what is typically called a 'bastard hard move'. I can therefore only recommend this effect to the hard core card experts who are willing to put the necessary work into this move.

Of course, if you like the effect you can exchange the difficult move with other easier moves, but it will be hard to achieve the same clean and direct performance without it.

A packet of cards is introduced for a "kind of" poker game in which the spectator cannot lose. The magician explains he has two rewards for him. At the end of the dealings, if the spectator's hand beats the magician's, he gets a $20 bill. If his hand is a royal flush, he gets the magician's credit card. And if the magician's hand beats the spectator's, nobody loses anything. Fair enough?

The cards are then dealt accordingly to the spectator's choices between the magician and him - five cards each. When the spectator spreads his cards face up on the table, he has four cards from a royal flush...

You display an unfolded card box, and clearly show it inside and out. You then proceed to fold it up, snap your fingers and slide a full deck of cards out of the box! It's that simple. It's that effective.

Flat Pack is great for close-up as well as stand-up work. It's super easy to make, and the angles are great.

Effect: Show an empty bottle and a coin. Visually toss a coin in to the bottle and the coin will melt through it. The bottle is then handed to the spectator for inspection and to keep. Spectator cannot find any holes or gimmicks. Also, you can do this effect with a bottle full of water or any drink. Requires two gimmicks which are easy to prepare.

A spectator-selected card turns face-up in the deck.

Have a spectator freely select a card from a deck. There is no force. The spectator remembers the card. The magician inserts the card into the deck. When the deck is fanned the card has turned face-up (or face-down if you are showing the deck from faces.)

You will need to be able to do a half-pass. A short card helps in the sleight-of-hand proceedings.

The magician holds up an envelope and says it contains a prediction. He askes a spectator to name any playing card. Performer says the named card is in the envelope. He removes an 8.5 x 11 inch picture that has the whole deck spread out. The performer says: "Look, there is your card right there."

Spectator is presented with a number of Fortune Cookies and is asked to select anyone they like, they can sign and date the cookie packaging. A deck of cards are mixed, then the spectator is asked to generate a random number by rolling 2 dice.

A number is settled on and they're asked to count down that many cards from the deck to a randomly selected card. The performer asks the spectator to open the Fortune Cookie and encourages them to read aloud the paper fortune inside, they turn over their selected card and it is found that both the paper fortune and card are a perfect match! Read four minds at once!

The performer shows a chart consisting of five colored ESP symbols. He invites four people to participate. Each participant is asked to just think of an ESP symbol shown on the chart. The participants write nothing down, they just think of a symbol. There are no restrictions. Each person could be thinking of a different symbol, or they all could be thinking of the same symbol. They do not share their thoughts with each other. The performer begins to get impressions and calls out three symbols. He says, "If I have called out the symbol you are thinking of, please close...

A playing card is shown from both sides. The spectator initials the face of this card. Performer tears out two small rectangles from the inside of the card. One of these rectangular tear-outs has its center removed to create a little frame, which is freely shown. Magician folds this little frame over the center beam of the larger card frame and suddenly the little frame clearly hangs from the center beam of the larger frame. How did it get on there? This card, with linked little frame, can be handed out or given away as souvenir.
