This is a challenge you can win every time. This is 100% gimmickless magic. A vault is a safe or lockbox. It holds valuables. I can get the valuables out of the vault even if the spectator is guarding the vault with their hands.
You challenge the spectator that you can get anything out of your closed fist, hand or vault even if their hands protect the top and bottom of your closed fist. There is no way in and no way out!
You make your challenge. If I can get the item out, can I have it? The spectator says, "Sure." Mr. Spectator put your money where your mouth is. You ask for a dollar bill. The spectator provides a bill. Preferably a big one. A $100 will do nicely. The bill is rolled up and a rubber band is placed on it. (Yes, the spectator can roll it up and place the rubber band on it too.)
Then the spectator inspects your hands and places the rolled bill in your hand. Next, you remind them of the rules of the challenge. If I get it out, I keep it. You can protect my closed fist with your hands, fair enough? They place their hands on your closed fist containing the rolled bill and on the count of three, the rolled bill has escaped the vault.
There is no gimmick required. All you need is a rubber band and a spectator-supplied bill. (A big bill is better, a $20, $50 or $100 is perfect.)
This is a 100% gimmickless magic effect that is easy to learn and perform. It is easy to repeat and can make you some serious money. You can even reproduce the bill from your pocket and it is an exact serial number match.
