$12 Archives of Human Prodigies 2Giovanni Iuliani
Freaks, strange people, monsters, and even prodigies are some of the words used to describe the human beings that you will find in this ebook. While we realize that today many of these words might be considered "politically incorrect" we have taken the liberty of using these terms insofar as to better communicate the mindset of the sideshow people of that era. No disrespect is intended.
At the time, sideshows went by many different names, among these: dime museums of one kind or another and tent attractions, fronted by huge banners, depicting very unusual people and or animals. Curiosities... $4 Jogging my MemoryIan Baxter
Who among us is not familiar with injogs and outjogs? Since the days of Erdnase, these very handy adjuncts have helped enable magicians to turn out miraculous feats of card magic.
Card man Ian Baxter offers up an unusual use for the humble injog here in his latest manuscript. This is the venerable 'STOP' trick with a difference and you will be most impressed. Positively no complicated sleights or outrageous moves in this strictly commercial adaptation of a classic. Don't pass this one up!
1st edition 2021, PDF 4 pages. ★★★★★ $24 Structured ImageryScott Creasey ... specific and detailed information your subject is only thinking of, thoughts that were never written down or spoken. You will be able to confidently reveal in no uncertain terms exactly what they were thinking. I'm not sure mentalism gets any stronger than this." - Bill O'Connell
"My review in one single sentence: If a performer could read minds for real, his audience would experience this kind of performance!" - Rudolf Künzli
"Structured Imagery is just great! I loved the beach idea from Orion, but this takes it to a whole new level! I used the clock ringing presentation today at a... ★★★★★ $0 Bank Night on Voice CallUnknown Mentalist
Another interesting approach to the classic effect. This is a completely different method and principle to Propless Bank Night.
No props needed. No equivoque. No anagrams. No Math. Totally free choices. Everything happens in the participant's mind who is on the other end of a voice call with the performer, maybe thousands of miles away. The performer even tells the participant upfront the contents of each envelope involved in the routine. The participant chooses the envelopes freely, there is no force. And yet the participant is stunned with the result.
This can be performed one on one over a voice call... $15 Charles Oswald Williams and the Golden Age of MagicSteve Sanders
Charles Oswald Williams was a good friend of Professor Hoffmann, Chung Ling Soo and many other notable magicians. He was also a magic dealer and inventor, amongst his customers was a young Cardini. Williams also had the honour of being one of the first magicians to perform in The Magic Circle's inaugural show.
Charles Oswald Williams was at the inception of the Golden Age of Magic and his life story followed the
development of Magic as we now know it. This ebook chronicles his life story in parallel to the rise of Magic. In addition, it contains a full account of The Magic Circle's first show in London in 1906, describing... $10 The Final StrawGraham Hey
The Final Straw - a very clever mentalism effect. Five different colored straws in a cocktail glass. One straw contains a rolled-up gift voucher for the holiday of a lifetime and a year's supply of cocktails. All the others contain a note which says 'you lost!' Spectators select any 4 colored straws (no forcing) the contents of each straw is pushed out ... and they all lose. The remaining straw has the winning gift voucher. This is so clever and virtually self-working. You'll need to buy some straws - you should have everything else you need. As usual with Graham's effects, they are easy to... $9 Stand PatDavid A. Curtis Poker stories from the Mississippi.
The stories play in Brownsville and Arkansas City both located on the West bank of the Mississippi river during the second half of the 19th century.
Excerpt from the preface:
The things that I saw, that seemed worthy of note, I have set down without prejudice to the little town of Brownsville, which has grown since I was there. Let no citizen of the place pursue me vindictively because I found him less interesting than Stumpy. And let no one’s civic pride suffer because I noted in the town only what seemed to me picturesque. I have no quarrel with... ★★★★★ $19.50 Analects and AnaloguesJon Racherbaumer ... with the ordinary…and what is demonstrated must also have no practical use or relevance in the real world. It is a demo, not an application of real power.
Anneman always sought to add an element of surreality to everything he did. He realized that dreams insulate reality and nourish one’s capacity to imagine things reality cannot provide.
Anneman thought that implausibility is ultimately more impressive than impossibility. An impossibility will never happen. An implausibility can happen but seldom does. It is something real and rare and inspires awe.
★★★★★ $20 Slydini Coins Through the TableD. Angelo Ferri
Dennis Barlotta, aka D. Angelo Ferri, was a long-time student of Slydini and is today the most authentic and respected teacher of magic the Slydini way. In this set of two videos, he will teach a classic of magic, the Coins Through the Table exactly how Slydini performed it. It requires six silver coins and one contrasting coin, a copper coin, a ring, or similar.
Dennis will teach you not only the mechanics and sleights but also the tempo, the script, and the details of the psychology. All of these factors come together into a beautiful deception.
1st edition 2023, video 1h 3min.... ★★★★★ $10 Bammo CychopsBob Farmer
When Teller saw this he said: "A work of mad genius."
Here at the Mad Genius Institute (MGI) we spend our days chasing the elusive butterfly of love and when we realize it's just another of the many delusions that sent us here in the first place, we get back to our real work: creating mind-bending magic so far outside the box it's a long-distance call to reality.
What happens when you decide to use not one or two Chop Cups but three? Three Chop Cups and three magnetic balls: you can't get farther from the mundane than that.
- Phase 1: Ball vanishes and appears in a Crown Royal bag.

★★★★★ $8 Princess on the MoveIan Baxter ... no wonder - with crazy fakes and gimmicks being introduced that almost drowned its popularity.
Fortunately, the original idea has remained unchanged which is why today, it is still regarded as a classic of card magic.
Beautifully simple, all it consists of is having a spectator mentally select one card from a group of five. The performer chooses one, then moments later reveals his choice has been correct. Simple, baffling, and in the right hands - memorable.
Princess On The Move is a brand new version of this truly outstanding effect. Australian cardman Ian Baxter has put together an... $8 CourtskillIan Baxter A new approach to the Stewart James classic Miraskill.
Theo Annemann's journal The Jinx, September 1936, was where Miraskill was first published. Subsequently reprinted in various books and magazines over the years, this Stewart James creation still baffles one and all. The years have not dulled the remarkable impact it can have on today's audiences.
Courtskill is a brand-new version of Miraskill. Australian card man Ian Baxter has concocted a totally new version, with some very distinct advantages.
Barely half the deck is used, trimming the performance time considerably, not to mention a surprise approach involving court... $3.50 The Old-Time Train GamblerGeorge Jean Nathan
Stories of card and revolver play, told by a man who "worked" the trains with his confederates in the days when stakes ran high.
If one believes this account, then a lot of the crooked gambling on trains was simply theft at gunpoint rather than sophisticated sleight-of-hand card advantage play.

For the first time in the English language one of the most highly successful magical plays of all time. From the pen of Fu Manchu (David Bamberg) comes Satan's Daughter, a lost treasure of the history of magic, until now unknown in the English-speaking world of magic.
Fu Manchu (David Bamberg) was the son of the great Okito and the sixth generation of magicians, originally from the Netherlands. He toured for decades with one of the finest full-evening magic shows, mostly in Latin America but also in Spain. Fu Manchu wrote and performed several magic plays of which Satan's Daughter is among the... ★★★★★ $9.95 Poly-GraphAbhinav Bothra
Poly-graph; where the precision of a Lie Detector meets the artistry of Drawing Duplication.
Poly-graph is an unconventional yet logical fusion of two realms of mentalism - The Lie Detector and Drawing Duplication. Both plots unfold in tandem, with the Lie Detector concluding prior to the Drawing Duplication.
Start your act with the entire audience and end with drawing duplication with one, two, or more people.
Casually put, it is an everyday worker's material, a 100% surefire with no funny or tricky questions. With just an hour's preparation, it provides a solid 8-10 minutes of... $12 Extra-Sensory PerceptionDr. Joseph Banks Rhine This is the publication where J. B. Rhine coined the term Extra-Sensory Perception (ESP) and reported on the results of his experiments at Duke University using the Zener symbol cards (today known as ESP cards) designed by his colleague Karl Zener during the early 1930s. The results Rhine reported were remarkable and suggested that ESP existed.
However, other academic institutes could not replicate the results. There were many problems with the experimental design Dr. Rhine used. The remarkable results he achieved were likely a combination of sensory leakage and outright cheating. One of... ★★★★★ $12 Magic of the MindEddie Joseph What was a $5 bargain in 1952 is a bigger bargain today. This valuable product should cost $59 when adjusted for inflation and we are selling it for only $12.
Excerpt from the foreword:
Just because one has acquired extreme dexterity in the manipulation department it does not stand to reason that MAGIC OF THE MIND can be easily presented as a bunch of tricks. The Magician appears in the role of a MENTALIST when doing MAGIC OF THE MIND. He is supposed to be working with his MIND and not his HANDS. Any attempt at speed or undue display of manual dexterity will ruin the whole thing. One should... ★★★★★ $8 Perfected Sealed Message ReadingEd Stoddard ... PDF 16 pages.
Reviewed by Gregg Webb This is a handling of the Q & A envelopes and cards that is very do-able and that you will enjoy using and learning. It was published by Max Holden in 1950 and revamped for today's use. I have read many methods by Annemann and Baker and many others and find this one to have the simplicity needed to make the whole process seem second nature. I highly recommend it. $20 The Scalloped Short Card: an underused toolUnnamed Magician
The common element in all three of those effects is the use of a scalloped short card (a special short card that was popularized by Dai Vernon). It is a gimmick that I rarely see used. A few people use a short card nowadays - even fewer use a scalloped short card.
If you're interested in learning three distinct applications of this tool (a pseudo-memory effect, a telepathy effect, and a prediction effect), then this e-book is for you.
Note: If you're only interested in one of the three effects, then you're just better off individually buying that one (as it would be cheaper). But if you're interested... $12 Classical Foursome 3Edward Marlo & Jon Racherbaumer
The title of this manuscript indicates that four classical plots are being covered.
- Classical Quickie transforms a "wrong" card to a "right" one, but the speed and visibility of the methods make it different. It's quick, interesting, and mysterious. You have several methods to choose.
- Doubly Ambitious takes the Ambitious plot out of the humdrum class.
- Double Transposition effects will give you a sense of happy accomplishment.
- Chameleon Queens inevitably intrigue audiences fascinated by repeated transformations.
The manuscript does not ignore the technical side with a set of techniques... Displaying 1585 to 1608 (of 1673 products)
