Effect:

You show two packs of cards. One red and one blue backed. You ask a spectator to touch one of the packs. The pack is offered to the spectator and she is asked to put the pack of cards in a pocket. Taking the pack of cards with the blue backs you fan them face and back to show that the cards are normal. You shuffle the cards, cut and complete the cut. The cards are spread face down on the table and you ask a spectator to run his fingers backwards and forwards across the cards...using his hand rather like a pendulum. This is a triple prediction effect. It requires intermediate sleight-of-hand including second dealing. The routine includes additional handlings (impromptu and set-up versions) and two bonus effects/ideas. Some presentational tips are included, too.

Keep these points in mind:

• Impromptu (the deck is set up only once and you're ready to perform it as many times as you want!)
• Spectator shuffles the deck at the start.
• Spectator can even shuffle the cards during the trick.
• You can deal the cards while being blindfolded.

A signed selected card is placed face down into the middle of the face-up deck, protruding for half its length. The performer looks for the four kings and removes them from the pack. The kings are shown clearly on both sides and then placed into the empty card box (this is done by the spectator himself). Now the chosen signed card vanishes from the pack completely. When the card box is opened, the signed selected card is found face-up in the middle of the four kings!

For the killer finale, a king is cut into four pieces and yet the signed card transposes, ending up with the signed card being...

This has nothing to do with Lager Beer, but a lot with David Regal. REGAL read backwards is LAGER and that's where the name comes from. David's excellent "Clarity Box" that he marketed was the inspiration, in fact I actually use his box in this video (although you could use any container or suitable drinking glass).

This is my handling with the UNPREPARED crystal box, acchieving the same result: a folded card, which has been in full view inside the box is switched out for a signed card. This is a no-frill switch for the worker with a heavy rentention of vision aspect to it.

Signed card into envelope, using a novel method which eliminates all difficult sleight-of-hand.

This concept enables you to steal and load a signed card into an envelope which has been in full view all the time. The signed card is placed into a clear box with a lid, this is placed into a larger carton box with a lid, and all is encircled with a rubber band. Still, you are able to extract the card. The load into the envelope is done in full view, and can be used without the box steal, as well.
