A card is selected and outjogged from a deck which is then put on the table. Now, you bring out a packet of five prediction cards that you show to have all red backs and fronts (all different), saying one of them must be the selection.

You explain that the cards will help you, not to find the right one, but to eliminate the four wrong ones!

• The back of a second card turns blue.

Visual Card Rise was inspired by Martin Lewis's effect called Cardiographics. Like many magicians Ron wanted to find a close up version of this amazing effect. After some searching Ron couldn't find anything like it that had the visual strength of the original effect. He wanted the animation to look as real and magical as the original. A card rises out of a picture of a card drawn on the back of a playing card. Only the black marker ink moves. No part of the printed back design moves as the animation takes place!

Effect:

A card is selected by a spectator and kept face down on the table. We'll say this card is the Jack of Diamonds. The magician claims that this is a "magic card" and will be used later. He then removes the four Aces from the deck as well as 12 indifferent spot cards and proceeds to perform a super clean Ace Assembly.

The Effect: A spectator freely selects a playing card and loses it in the deck. You then show two "magnet cards" and place them on top of the deck. Without any moves, a card is suddenly sandwiched between the magnets. It is not the selection, but suddenly changes into the freely selected card. A real magicians' fooler!

Pass a borrowed and signed coin through your head. You put it into one ear and take it out from the other ear. It is the same coin. No switches whatsoever. An unusual effect! The method is pretty cool but you have to watch your angles and you have to prepare a few things. Actually this can really only be seen from the front - head on. It is a great effect for a single spectator or a small group of spectators or for TV work.
