MaiPaul Curry... l'artista. | $5 to wish listPDF |
Mathematics of the DicePekiA clever routine with two dice. Make the spots change in ways unimaginable.
[Note: This is Dr. Theodore Sack's exact routine and can be found for example in Bruce Elliott's book Classic Secrets of Magic (1963, pp. 52-60).]

Ponsin on ConjuringJean Nicolas Ponsin & Sam Sharpe ... filled with intriguing effects with cards, coins and an entire section on the Cups and Balls. Surprisingly you will find here the idea of using metal balls, the same idea with which Paul Gertner created a sensation. You can find everything from mental miracles, to impromptu effects, routines with dice, watches, handkerchiefs and so much more.
[Note that this is not a full translation of the original work. Some parts have been left out. It has also been said that Sam Sharpe wasn't a particular good translator from French to English and consequently there are errors in his translation. Nevertheless, for those who do not speak French this is currently the best we have. Anybody interested to create a completely new translation please contact Lybrary.com.]

Die-LemmaDavid DevlinDavid Devlin has come up with a very whimsical and clever effect that is simple to do and a blast to perform. This effect uses dice that are printed by the U.S. Playing Card Company. These are not normal dice. These dice have card suits and card values printed on them. They are called Poker Dice. These are readily available any place that games are sold and are very inexpensive. This is a great trick for use in walk around and restaurant performing.
Here is the effect: The performer brings out a deck and casually gives it a few cuts. A spectator gives the deck a cut but does not complete... | ★★★★★ $5 to wish listPDF |
The Ultimate Page ForceDevin KnightHow a page is forced during a book test is the most important part of the test. Unfortunately, most page forces are sadly lacking. Most appear contrived. Dice are rolled to determine page numbers, playing cards are used or math is used to determine a random number. This not what a real mind reader would do.
Other methods involve mis-calling numbers. If the audience realizes that the mentalist knows the page number, then the effect has dropped a few levels. Many people have read in books about secret cue lists and realize if the mentalist knows the page number, then he may have memorized the... | ★★★★★ $5 to wish listPDF |
