Don started his magic career in the late 60's working at the Yogi Magic Mart in Baltimore MD, his home town, owned by the notable Phil Thomas. From there he moved to side shows and later he was inducted by David Walker as svengali pitchman. Don has worked as pitchman for more than 30 years and is considered the best svengali pitchman alive today.
The svengali pitch was originally created by Mickey MacDougall in 1935. In the 1940s S. David Walker learned the pitch directly from Mickey. And Don learned the pitch from David. Don is therefore in the direct line of the svengali pitch ancestry. | |

A bargain at this price, as some of the marketed effects sell for more than the price of the lecture notes. Note the effects described in the lecture notes are abridged versions of the separate releases.

Cy Endfield's Entertaining Card MagicLewis Ganson... its sequel, Zulu Dawn. So, it is no surprise that some of his effects highly emphasize storytelling and delivery. Tricks like Two To Divine, "Blackie Is With Us!" and Conjure Bones have plots that seem to have jumped from the pages of depression-era pulp magazines like Weird Tales or Adventure. But don't just take my word for it. Endfield's legacy is hailed by none other than his former student and conjuring virtuoso, Michael Vincent. It's easy to assume that Vincent praises his former teacher's work out of a sense of loyalty or rose-colored nostalgia, but that would be a mistake. He praises... | ★★★★★ $19.90 to wish listPDF |

PsychoportationDevin KnightEffect: Teleport a borrowed driver's license under near impossible conditions.
Two manila envelopes are shown. Each is just large enough to hold a driver's license. Any spectator comes forward. No stooge or pre-show work. He hands you his driver's license which is placed inside one of the manila envelopes. The performer marks a large 1 on the front of the envelope. This envelope is then placed inside a larger window envelope where it is seen through the clear window. The window envelope is then clipped closed with a paper clip and finally placed inside a clear plastic bag and given to the... | ★★★★★ $15 to wish listPDF |

The Jam AuctionDon DriverThere is no better demonstration of applied psychology than the Jam Auction, and Jack Nyberg is the recognized king of that money-making business. This is the ONLY video of Jack’s two-hour pitch from start to finish. Jack starts by building a tip and then, over time, has about 25 people standing in his tent for two hours waiting and wanting to give him money. Filmed on location with a hand-held camera this is unlike anything you’ve ever seen when it comes to crowd control, creating customers, and getting them to buy.

The Lost SpecialArthur Conan Doyle
The word 'special' in the title refers to a special train - a privately hired train. This is a train a railway company inserts into its regular schedule when somebody pays for the expenses of the locomotive, wagons, and staff to operate the train. It is essentially the equivalent of chartering an airplane at a time when there were no airplanes.
This impossible crime story concerns the baffling disappearance of a special from the London and West Coast Railway Company on its journey from Liverpool to London on 3rd June 1890. Besides the train crew of driver, fireman, and train guard the only... | $2.99 to wish listPDF |
