The ACAAN ExperienceNick ConticelloAuthor and collector Doug Edwards after seeing a performance said:
If you have ever wanted to do an impromptu version of the David Berglas classic ACAAN but despaired of finding a workable method, rejoice! In his new ebook The ACAAN Experience Nick Conticello offers you four impromptu methods. Each version of Nick's effect CAAN-Fluence starts from a single premise but uses a different technique each time to place a freely chosen card at a freely chosen location in a borrowed, shuffled, incomplete deck. None of these versions require any... | $30 to wish list
The UntouchablesDavid DevlinThis is a new Any Card at Any Number effect in which (apparently) the spectator does all of the work, and it happens all in his hands. Not only that, but the performer has predicted the entire outcome; the card and the number, far in advance! This is all true. The performer never touches the deck once the effect begins. Here is the effect as the audience sees it: The deck is shuffled by a spectator. The performer has any spectator think of any number between one and fifty-two, but not to reveal it to anyone until asked by the performer. Nothing is written down. The number is simply thought... | ★★★★★ $12.50 to wish list
The Catch-All PrincipleNick Conticello[Note: If you purchase this together with Sunken Treasury: Part 1 and 2 and Sunken Treasury: Part 3, 4 and 5 you will get The Catch-All Principle for free. Discount is automatically applied in the shopping cart. Also applies if you have purchased the entire Sunken Treasury in the past. The Catch-All Principle allows you to covertly position a free selection at a predetermined position in the deck. It does this with the help of two key cards. The real strength and novelty of this principle is that at crucial moments the spectator is free to cut the deck, which makes it seem impossible that the selection will end up at a predetermined position - but it does. Perhaps the best use of this principle... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish list
C.I.A: Challenging and Intensive ACAANAbhinav BothraA really clean and impeccable ACAAN. What the audience sees and hears: The Performer brings out a deck of cards and points to a person asking him to think of any card but not the Ace (as its common for people to go for it) and another person to think of a number between 1 and 48. He then proceeds to pull out the Aces meanwhile handing out small packets of cards to 4 different audience members and asks them to shuffle the cards thoroughly. While they are busy shuffling, the two audience members are asked to name their thought of card and the number for the first time. Once the shuffling... | ★★★★★ $9.95 to wish list
The Holy Dixie CupDavid DevlinA deck is borrowed. It is thoroughly shuffled by a spectator. The performer has any spectator think of any number between one and fifty-two, but not to reveal it to anyone until asked by the performer. Nothing is written down. The number is simply thought of. The performer now has a different spectator name any card. There is no force of any kind! After a very funny gag, the performer for the first time asks the spectator to reveal the number that he has merely been thinking of. Let us assume that the number is twenty three. Without any fumbling or manipulation of the deck, no cuts, no shuffles,... | ★★★★★ $8 to wish list
The Stained Glass EffectSimon CaineA deck is borrowed from a spectator. The deck is shuffled by the spectator. They select a card and commit it to memory. Nothing is forced, no card is mentioned out loud. A second spectator is thinking of any number between 1 and 52, the card is replaced and the deck is further mixed. Nothing is forced, no number is mentioned out loud. Only after both spectators are satisfied with the random state of the deck are the freely chosen card and number named out loud (only if they want! This information can stay unknown to the performer the whole time.) The performer does not touch the deck,... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish list
ACAANBrian KennedyThis is a straight forward ACAAN that is very easy to do - one could say it is more or less a move-less method. You ask the spectator to name any card (no force, completely free choice). Then you ask them to cut a portion of the cards off the deck and count the cards. This is the free selection for a number. Again there is no force of any kind. The spectator can cut as little or as many cards as she wishes. Nevertheless, the card the spectator has chosen earlier ends up at the same number. [Note: The method is deceptively simple. It will probably not fool most magicians, but it will fool the vast majority of laypeople. The advantage of this method is that it requires no preparation and no forcing of any kind.]

DumbfoundedDevin KnightAn amazing coincidence that goes beyond ACAAN. Effect: The performer shows a blue deck of cards and shuffles it until he feels psychically inclined to stop. He really does not know the order of the cards. The deck is returned to its case and given to a participant to hold. The performer never touches the blue deck again. A red deck is now shown and shuffled by the performer. He has a second participant freely select a card from the red deck. The participant may change his mind, as there is no force. Next, a number is obtained by chance. No mathematics are involved and there is no force of... | ★★★★★ $9 to wish list
A Can of Mysteries 2Gerard Zitta"ACAAN with a mental shake" Gerard likes the ACAAN plot. Whether it is impromptu or formal, closeup or on stage, it always has a strong impact. There have been loads of methods since Mr. Berglas presented this effect in the mid 70's. For this manuscript, Gerard wanted a 100% hands off solution, direct, practical, with NO sleight of hands and doable on stage or closeup and, if possible without knowing the card nor the number. The result is not a card trick but more of a mentalism effect. EFFECT: The performer places a boxed deck of cards in full view. He won't touch it again. Four presentations... | $25 to wish list
RemoteRob ChapmanThe effect is as folows: A member of the audience is asked to join you. A deck of cards is shown wrapped in elastic bands and placed inside the box. The Magician then puts the volunteer into a trance like state to open up their 3rd eye. When they open their eyes the spectator, holding the box reveals the name of a card, and a number. The cards are then removed from the box still wrapped in bands and the spectator unwraps them and counts down to the number, at that number they reveal the card they named. The box and cards can be handed out straight away for examination. Or even to be kept. ... | $15 to wish list
Insight: another clever ACAANDevin Knight[This effect previously appeared in the Mindvention 2009 lecture notes. If you have these notes you don't need to buy this. You invite two spectators to help in this experiment. You remove a deck of cards casually show them face up while you remove the joker. They are placed face down on the table. You ask one of the spectators to cut off a block and look at a card. Not to remove it, just THINK of it. You really don't know what card the person is thinking about! The selection is made in the spectator's hands. The magician isn't touching the cards. The person doesn't write the card down, he merely thinks of it. The deck is then picked up by you and mixed... | ★★★★★ $5 to wish list
Natural ScamVittorio VersaillesNatural Scam, by Vittorio Versailles, is an ACAAN effect based on Tommaso (Tommy) Guglielmi's famous Subtle Scam. Natural Scam represents a significant change to the workings of its predecessor, and will be of great interest to all those interested in the ACAAN plot. What the new changes do best is they allow you to perform this ACAAN routine in a way that is so completely natural that members of your audience will think they just witnessed a miracle. Natural Scam is completely impromptu, totally hands off, requires no prior set-up, and it is 100% natural. Is this the holy grail? You will have to find out for yourself! ... | $19.99 to wish list
Numbers: ACAANRus Andrews

Simple ACAANIan BaxterFive approaches to the popular 'Any Card At Any Number' problem that rely more on subtlety than sleight of hand. Three Mind MiraclesDevin KnightThis ebook contains three effects from Devin Knight that are about as close to real mindreading as you can get. TAROT FOLD TOLD An ungimmicked Tarot Deck is shown and given to anyone to shuffle. Four people are invited to come forward. They remove the top five cards from the shuffled Tarot Deck and arrange them face up on a table in any order. They do this while you are across the room and CAN NOT SEE THE CARDS. Each person is asked to just think of one of the cards. They say nothing and write nothing down. Best yet, you end completely clean, and all the cards can be examined immediately at the conclusion of the trick! Here’s the basic effect: Two packets of cards are used: one blue, and one red. Ionic Force(Benny) Ben HarrisA COMPELLING FORCING PROCEDURE & APPLICATIONS THEREOF Ionic is a ranging force, applied with the fingers, in order to arrive at an apparently random (or unknown number). Such forces—performed on the fingers—have been used for decades. Karrel Fox and Max Maven are both famous for their applications of the approach. For the record, Ray Hyman is credited with FIRST applying the idea to the use of the fingers. (See The Linking Ring, October, 1953). Ray’s application was for a book test called “It’s In The Book.” Here’s how it usually works: Imagine asking a spectator to hold... | ★★★★★ $15 to wish list
