Effect: Teleport a borrowed driver's license under near impossible conditions.

Two manila envelopes are shown. Each is just large enough to hold a driver's license. Any spectator comes forward. No stooge or pre-show work. The Ultimate Tossed-Out Deck That Fools Magicians!

This was one of the most talked about effects from Devin Knight's recent lecture tour. A different handling for the tossed-out deck that fooled many magicians.

What makes this version different? The deck is examined and shuffled by a spectator before the effect begins. The cards are freely shown to be different to the audience. Once the deck is banded, the performer lifts up the various parts of the deck showing the audience DIFFERENT CARDS as he explains how to peek at a card.

The original trick, first released by Devin Knight in 1972 and long off the market. It is available again, after being one of his most popular effects during a recent lecture tour. You show a deck of cards and have a lady freely select a card. There is no force. The lady may sign the card if you wish. The card is returned to the deck and lost.

You tell the lady that you will give her magical powers and that she will find her card with magic. This always intrigues the lady you are performing it for. You ask the lady to blow a kiss toward the deck. The deck is spread and an image of a kiss...

The performer shows a blue deck of cards and has a card freely selected from the face up deck. There is no force. He has a participant sign his name on the face of the card. This signed-card is then placed into a window envelope. The audience can see the BLUE back of the card through the glassine window. This envelope is propped up and left in full view. The performer introduces a BLANK FACE card that has a RED back; this is examined by the participant and found to be ungimmicked. The performer shows a chart consisting of five colored ESP symbols. He invites four people to participate. Each participant is asked to just think of an ESP symbol shown on the chart. The participants write nothing down, they just think of a symbol. There are no restrictions. Each person could be thinking of a different symbol, or they all could be thinking of the same symbol. The performer shows an 8.5 x 11 inch chart that has the names of four different colors printed on it in different color inks. He says he will attempt to confuse a participant's mind. A participant is asked to quickly call out the color of the ink that each word is printed in. Despite his best efforts, he invariably miscalls some of the colors. For example, if the ink is blue, he may say it is red. This is all very amusing to the audience as he cannot seem to say all the colors correctly!

A new and novel paper effect! Do not confuse this with the old Squircle effect. Although similar, this is a greatly improved version. A double sheet of newspaper is shown on both sides. It is folded into quarters and a small 2" square is cut from a folded corner. (In the original Squircle, a double sheet of newspaper is folded in half and a semicircle is cut out.) The 2" square is unfolded showing it is actually a 4" inch square.

The double sheet of newspaper is partly unfolded. Instead of the expected rectangular shape, the audience sees a semicircle! (You cannot do this with the old Squircle.)...
