Any card is selected [say the King of Spades] and then buried into the deck by the spectator. Using a 2nd deck, a number is very fairly generated, again by the spectator [let's say 25]. You won't believe this, but... the 25th card now dealt to in the 1st deck is the King of Spades!

This is a numerological revelation of a selected card. It's really off-beat and ... I think you'll love it, and definitely use it!

You tell two spectators that one of them will select a card randomly from the deck, and the other will find out the name of the selected card using numerology. You ask one of them to turn his back while the other chooses a card.

Addicted To Power
The spectator chooses a random number of cards and a random selection from the deck. The random cards have letters on their faces. If you read the letters they give you the name of the selection! After this the magician shows that all the other cards in the deck are blank!

Mystical Sandwich

Simple Collectors is Peter's take on the original Collectors plot. Three cards are selected by three spectators, and after they have remembered their selections the cards are lost in the deck. The magician shows the four kings and also randomly distributes these throughout the deck. With a snap of the fingers the magic happens, and the magician spreads the cards out on the table. In between the 4 Kings; 3 Cards assembled themselves. The Three selected cards.

In the first version of this terrific packet trick, the four queens are removed from the deck, and are held face down. One at a time and in turn, each queen turns face up as in the "Twisting the Aces" routine.

After all of the queens have had their turn face up, and are all face down once again, the magician asks the spectator to name any one of the queens. He explains that whichever queen is named, it will magically turn face up. Let's assume that the named queen is the Queen of Spades. The performer snaps his fingers and says, "Would you be amazed if the queen you named is now face up?" ...

Look into a deck without looking.

While your back is turned, spectator deals cards off a deck that they shuffled while you wait for them to reach a card that you 'sense' might be near their card. Then they are to deal a few cards from that spot onto the table side by side and they are to hover their hand over each one - your back still turned - while you tell them to slam their hand on a certain one. It is their card.

Here is the effect: a spectator has a packet of 5 cards. For argument's sake, let's assume the five cards used are simply numbered 1-5 (the actual make up of the cards is up to your imagination). The spectator goes through a procedure in which cards are turned face up, face down, left as they are, the packet is cut, some-times the spectator decides whether the cards are turned over or not, sometimes the performer decides. But in the end, no matter who made the decisions, or which decisions were made, only the center card is face up and it is the 4. Not only that, but no matter what decisions...

A magician shows a card with cut-out pips and puts it into a playing card box. The spectator selects a card. When the magician takes out the cut-out pips card from the case and shows it one more time, it suddenly changes to a card without cut-out pips, and when turned face-up it has changed into the spectator's card.

Requires arts and crafts to construct the gimmick.

'Card to Box' meets 'Deck to Pocket' in this insanely visual transpostion.

The Effect: You remove the deck from its case and have a spectator freely choose any card - no force - and sign it across the face. You then place the card case into your pocket before losing the signed card back into the centre of the deck. With a snap of your fingers you claim that you have made the card jump to your pocket and appear inside the card case. Your audience doesn't believe you. But, with a totally empty hand you reach into your pocket and produce...the entire deck. The spectator turns his attention back...
