This work was planned to be the last volume in Dai Vernon's Inner Card Secrets series. However, due to water damage caused by a fire the typed manuscript was lost. It took several years to recover from this mishap and therefore this last volume was originally published much later than the first three volumes (Inner Secrets of Card Magic, More Inner Secrets of Card Magic, Further Inner Secrets of Card Magic). A working pro teaches you his most sought-after tradeshow stopper. Two spectators choose a card, they are lost in the deck. The performer places two cards into each spectator's hand. He thinks they are the correct selections but they are not. Magically they transform in the correct selections.

Mark explains how it is done but does not show the details of the moves he uses. You will need to be able to control a card to the top and be able to perform a double lift. That is all you need.

The Effect: A spectator freely selects a playing card and loses it in the deck. You then show two "magnet cards" and place them on top of the deck. Without any moves, a card is suddenly sandwiched between the magnets. It is not the selection, but suddenly changes into the freely selected card. A real magicians' fooler!

You ask the spectator to name any card that they like. No force is involved and it truly is a completely free choice. You then hand them your phone which has the Google search engine on the screen ready for the magic to happen. you ask them to type "what is my card?" or something similar into Google and hit the "Google search" button.

Now watch as their face drops. Google has not only told them what card they freely thought off but it has also brought up a full page full of search results linked to the card. They can even go into the images section and be greeted with pages of image results...
