Sine WaveJohn GelasiAn incredibly fair new two packet "B'wave" effect with a killer ending that nobody will see coming. The Effect: Two packets of cards are introduced: one red and one blue, each containing four cards. The magician asks that the audience to imagine that each packet contains a four-of-a-kind, say the four twos. The blue packet is shown to a spectator and clearly contains all four twos. The packet is turned face down and given a quick mix. The magician asks the spectator to choose any number from 1 to 4, 1 being the top card of the packet, and 4 being the bottom card. The spectator notes the... | $7 to wish list
The Turnstile PassIan BaxterIt was none other than Channing Pollock who stepped forward with this keen endorsement of Ian Baxter's The Turnstile Pass: "Beautifully written and detailed. Yes, I recommend it! And - I just love your self-deprecating humor." A smooth card pass that enunciates the importance of using a distractive move to cover the mechanics. Three first rate effects are included as well. The Turnstile Pass is Ian Baxter's variation of a Hermann style pass that does not require a turnover of the packet, as is typically the case with Hermann type passes. As a bonus you will get three routines using this pass: ... | ★★★★★ $7 to wish list
Outta SightDevin KnightThe Ultimate Tossed-Out Deck That Fools Magicians! This was one of the most talked about effects from Devin Knight's recent lecture tour. A different handling for the tossed-out deck that fooled many magicians. What makes this version different? The deck is examined and shuffled by a spectator before the effect begins. The cards are freely shown to be different to the audience. Once the deck is banded, the performer lifts up the various parts of the deck showing the audience DIFFERENT CARDS as he explains how to peek at a card. The SAME deck is tossed out and three people each peek... | ★★★★★ $7 to wish list
3 Coins 4 Your ThoughtsPaul Voodini3 Coins 4 Your Thoughts is a full, self-contained, multi-phase reading system perfect for any situation - impromptu or in-depth. Utilising just 3 coins (your own or borrowed), you will be able to give wonderful, uplifting readings to both friends and complete strangers. Because this system uses items that everybody carries in their pockets, wallets, or purses (3 coins) its great strength is perhaps in social settings where you may be asked to demonstrate something "weird"! However because this is a fully formed reading system, it is equally ideal for a more in-depth formal reading. This is a... | ★★★★★ $7 to wish list
A Lady Through and ThroughDavid BritlandTwo effects are described, both with a 'Queen gets penetrated by another card' plot. The first effect can live inside a regular deck. The second effect is a small packet trick. Both effects require some preparation, but all you need is a knife and tape. The gaffed cards are very clever allowing for beautifully visual effects. 1st edition 1984, 1st digital edition 2012, 10 pages. | ★★★★★ $7 to wish list
Parallax: a topological miracleDavid BritlandHow many effects do you know that use only one playing card? Well Parallax is just that. The performer shows a playing card (any size works from jumbo card down to regular size) . A spectator holds the card face up. He grips it firmly and does not let go until the effect is over. Nevertheless the performer turns the card face down, visibly, right in front of the spectator's eyes. Yes, the card turns over whilst the spectator is holding it. It looks quite impossible. Only one card is used and the effect is performed openly and without cover of any kind. It's a topological miracle that you... | ★★★★★ $7 to wish list
Cutting RemarksDavid BritlandCutting Remarks was originally intended to form part of Card Kinetics, a booklet dealing with various methods of making playing cards move with various kinds of elastic loops, including those pioneered by Finn Jon and pirated by everyone else. However, this version of the Self Cutting Deck, for this is what Cutting Remarks is all about, doesn't use elastic of any kind, not even a thread. Peter Duffie used a similar principle in his effect Ascension to achieve a very unusual version of the Rising Card. David's first introduction to a threadless Self Cutting Deck was provided by Bob Ostin. His version of... | ★★★★★ $7 to wish listPDF & EPUB

Boromian LinkTerri RogersThis booklet details Terri Rogers' Boromian Link an incredible linking card effect based on Paul Harris' Immaculate Connection. The Harris original is a great impromptu effect but if you are not working impromptu and can use your own cards then you'll find Terri Rogers' method even better. The linking effect looks excellent and in fact fools those familiar with the Harris original. The effect can be performed with any size cards and looks quite spectacular if done with Jumbo cards. 1st edition 1986, 1st digital edition 2013, 12 pages. | ★★★★★ $7 more than onetype to choose from softcover PDF & EPUB
Star GateTerri RogersAn incredible effect based on a topological principle. Two cards are shown glued back to back. The spectator may examine them as there is nothing to find. The performer takes the cards, gives them a few deft folds and then hands them back to the spectator ... but now the cards are face to face. It looks impossible because the cards are still glued together. What's more, they are the same cards that the spectator handled earlier. There is no switch of any kind. You won't believe it yourself the first time you perform it. [Note: Originally this booklet was supplied with a Jumbo cards already prepared and glued together. This ebook comes without a set of glued cards. However, the ebook has clear explanation of the construction. You can prepare a set from regular cards with a knife and tape in a few minutes. 1st edition 1985, 1st digital edition 2013, 11 pages. [Below is a demonstration where the two cards are oriented in the same direction and not 90 degree rotated like Terri has originally designed it. The advantage of a 90 degree offset is that the card that is folded can at one time be seen partly from the front and partly from the back which is a very magical moment. This moment is missing from this version.] ... | ★★★★★ $7 more than onetype to choose from softcover PDF & EPUB
