Burmese ChangeZaw ShinnBurmese Change is a triple card change using a gimmick and sleight-of-hand. Spectator signs a card which is returned to the deck. The magician takes a random card and the card changes two times in to different cards, and the third change is when a random card changes in to the card signed by the spectator. After the trick, the card can be given to the spectator as a souvenir. Requires the preparation of a gimmick which is three cards thick.

Burmese Vanish 2Zaw ShinnIf you didn't like Burmese Change because of the setup, then here is a different way you may like much better. Zaw Shinn has created this version in pursuit to find the most practical and visual effect he can perform up close in front of the camera. This vanish is easy to do and it looks like CGI. No fancy set up is required and the materials to make the gimmick can easily be found.

Z ChangeZaw ShinnThe Spectator chooses any card from the deck. The magician rips off the corner of that card. One hand wave, and the corner changes color. The magician throws the corner on to the card, the card is restored and the whole card changes color. And that’s not the end. The magician places the card on the deck and the entire deck changes color. Four effects in one trick. (Supplies may have to be purchased in order to perform this effect.)

Color Pips 2Zaw ShinnA magician shows a card with cut-out pips and puts it into a playing card box. The spectator selects a card. When the magician takes out the cut-out pips card from the case and shows it one more time, it suddenly changes to a card without cut-out pips, and when turned face-up it has changed into the spectator's card. Requires arts and crafts to construct the gimmick.

UppZaw ShinnA very visual and sudden spectator card rising to the top effect. Spectator chooses a card (no force). The card can optionally be signed. It is inserted face-up in the middle of the deck. The performer places the top card by 90 degrees rotated on the top of the deck. He then removes that top card and suddenly the spectator's card rises to the top and is seen face-up on the top of the deck. The gimmick is easy to make. It requires arts and crafts and some of the usual supplies for card gaffing.

Fake BorderZaw ShinnA visual partial vanish of a playing card. Performer holds a playing card in front of his body. Suddenly most of the card vanishes leaving only the border behind. This requires the usual supplies and arts and crafts for gaffing cards, plus a black background like a black T-shirt.

Fake Border 2.0Zaw ShinnA super visual partial vanish of a playing card. Performer holds an empty card frame in one hand and a playing card in the other. By moving the playing card behind the frame the back of the playing card partially vanishes only leaving its frame visible. This looks incredible since the cards can be moved around and everything looks as it should. One could suspect CGI, but everything is achieved with gaffed cards and sleight of hand. This requires the usual supplies and arts and crafts for gaffing cards, plus a black background like a black T-shirt.

Fake Border RevampedZaw ShinnThe magician holds a card in front of his body and with a wave of the hand, the center vanishes only leaving the border. Move a Card: a new approach to a classic plotUnnamed MagicianFor those of you who own Move a Card: The 'Holy Grail' Method for a Classic Plot, you will already own this product (see the second half of your PDF) - so do not purchase this product. Imagine: The magician introduces a deck of cards. He spreads it face-up to display that all the cards are in fact different. He then says, "I want you to shuffle the cards, but in such a way where you can be absolutely certain that the order of the cards is completely randomized. I don't want there to be any trace of a stack or set-up left behind, as this is going to be a memory demonstration. They say it takes about 7 riffle shuffles to truly randomize the... | $20 $15 to wish list
HallucinationSultan OrazalyVisual and practical effects are rarely combined into one trick. Hallucination is a very practical and visual trick. Stars PredictionSultan OrazalyVisual movement of holes on a playing card. Show a playing card which has random holes in it. This is best done by putting it in front of a light source, such as your phone's screen. In an instant the holes rearrange to something meaningful. It could be a simple image, the name of a card, a spectator name, a date, anything you can think of. It is a great way to reveal a prediction.

Instantly the card turns red and the hole you just saw fingers go through somehow no longer exists. The black hole is now just a piece of black tape that is peeled off of the card. 36 Tricks With Fa-Ko CardsRonald HainesRonald Haines, through his business Haines House of Cards, sold a deck of gaffed cards called 'Fa-Ko' cards. This deck is not anymore available but perhaps you can find it second-hand. However, now that it is very easy to make your own playing cards (see DIY Playing Cards) this collection has gained in value. From the foreword The gimmicked cards required are listed at the beginning of each effect. The regular cards needed must be removed from a regular matching pack. This FA-KO Pack is not a toy for children, nor is it a collection of "self-working" tricks. It is a collection of professional secrets,... | ★★★★★ $5 to wish list

Real WarpedRalf (Fairmagic) RudolphA Card Warp effect that ends with an 'impossible' signed card with half turned face-out and the other half back-out. Effect: A playing card is folded and then signed by a spectator. This folded and signed card is inserted between another folded card, just like in the classic Card Warp effect. Then the inside card is pushed from left to right and from right to left. First the direction of the white border of the card's back switches position. Then one half of the card turns face outward. At this point the folded and signed card can be handed out as souvenir to the spectator. It will have one... | $10 to wish listMP4 (video)
