This is a wonderful "Dancing Ball" routine. You can have the ball dance on the heads of spectators, inside a glass, etc. The possibilities are many.

You will need a special gimmick for it. The video explains what you need and how you need to prepare it. It floats in the air, between your fingers, rides up a small magic wand, travels along the circumference of a large ball bearing and rolls along the back of your hand as it finally floats to you so it can be put back into the shell.

Effect: You announce that you will give a demonstration of shuffle tracking but that you will go even further than normal and actually track cards in a deck which is mixed face up and face down. The deck is very fairly mixed this way a number of times then you decide to take it even further and have the spectator remember one of the cards from within the chaotic mess you've made of the deck. With this done you FAIRLY FAN THE DECK TOWARDS THE SPECTATORS - IT IS SEEN TO BE GENUINELY MIXED FACE UP INTO FACE DOWN. You even give it one final weave - just to be sure. Now, with no corrective manouvers...

A cursed card the Jack of Diamonds is folded into an origami frog. Spectator chooses a card from the deck, say the Seven of Clubs. The frog finds the Seven of Clubs in the deck. The climax is the transposition of the two cards. The Seven of Clubs turns into the Jack of Diamonds, and when the origami frog is unfolded it is the Seven of Clubs.

This is a challenge you can win every time. This is 100% gimmickless magic. A vault is a safe or lockbox. It holds valuables. I can get the valuables out of the vault even if the spectator is guarding the vault with their hands.

You challenge the spectator that you can get anything out of your closed fist, hand or vault even if their hands protect the top and bottom of your closed fist. There is no way in and no way out!

You make your challenge. If I can get the item out, can I have it? The spectator says, "Sure."...

This is an effect by Francis Carlyle. It is an unusual revelation of a peeked at card. The Ace of Spades, also known among gamblers as 'the bullet', is used to shoot out the spectator's card.

The Ace Assembly theme is a classic one. Jennings credits Bill Miesel as the first to create a card assembly effect. Here you will learn Larry Jennings' variation which avoids bringing the deck and the aces together. The four aces are shown one at a time. Very slowly one by one and absolutely fairly three aces travel to the leader ace.

One spectator receives a prediction for safe keeping. Another spectator receives a portion of the deck, shuffles it thoroughly, deals cards one at a time on the table, and stops whenever he likes. He may stop at the first card, the last card, or anywhere in between. The value of the randomly chosen card is used to count to a card in the remaining portion of the deck. And that card matches the prediction.

Magic is mostly performed with man-made products - cards, coins, silks, ropes, ... Why not perform magic with items nature provides? This is even more powerful, because there is inherently no suspicion of gimmicked objects. Ralf has created a stunning miracle that is easy to perform during a stroll in the woods, or during a garden party, or other places where plants are in reach. All you need is access to leaves growing on a tree or a shrub and a pen to sign a leaf.

Effect: You and your spectator collect a couple of leaves. The spectator tears one in half, and signs it. Miraculously the torn...

An entertaining an fairly easy to perform effect.

Spectator picks a card, remembers it, and returns it. Performer claims that a pack of cards is like a computer and that he can program it to function like a lie detector. After the performer takes out some cards and reinserts them into the pack, the entire deck is handed to the spectator who answer and spells his answers by tabling cards. Was the card a face or point card? Was the card red or black? What suit was it? The bottom card of the tabled packet always shows the correct answer and therefore it is clear if the spectator told the truth...

You take or borrow a playing card and tear out two frames. Then in full view you link and unlink the the two card rings. This is the cleanest and most visual card linking I have seen.

• frames can be signed

Performer shows the red back of a playing card. One can see a heart and an arrow is drawn on the back. Suddenly the arrow slowly flies towards the heart until it penetrates it. In the final climax the color of the red card changes to blue. Making the gimmicked card requires arts and crafts.

Effect: You display a heirloom deck from your grandfather that due to its frequent use has lost all faces - you display a blank deck. You place the Queen of Hearts (a blank card) on the table and the Joker (another blank card) in your breast pocket. Magically these cards turn into the real cards. On top of this entire deck has changed from a blank deck to a regular deck.

You will need to be able to do: a reverse fan, hindu shuffle, double lift.

Here Marconick demonstrates many of his signature pieces with silk and some billiard ball manipulation, rope magic and cigarette magic.

This is a really clever visual effect. I love it.

Present a 'mint sheet' (a piece of aluminum foil). Borrow a coin and press the coin into the mint sheet. The impression looks just like the coin. But of course it is just an impression not a real coin - or is it? Hand the coin with which you created the impression back to the spectator. You only have the aluminum foil with the coin impression. With your thumb you squeeze and pull the impression of the mint sheet and create a new coin. The impression has transformed into a real coin. You do the same with the other side of the coin to 'mint'...

Two Deck Switches for the workers.

This is the evolution of the MIQa Box 3.0, including the previous two versions. This box allows you to easily switch one deck for another, under the guise of starting to put the deck away or putting the box off to the side. It's a very natural movement, without the discrepancies of other devices.

There are two versions included. Both of them work very well, so you choose which one you like better.

This is Jack Merlin's Order trick from And a Pack of Cards. The performer and spectator each give the deck a legitimate riffle shuffle. Then all the Spades are removed from the deck, shown in a ribbon spread, counted to be 13, and magically end up in order from ace to king.

The performer retails and reenacts a dream that at the end becomes reality.

A pack of cards is introduced. Spectator gives it a cut and peaks at a card in the center of the deck. Then the spectator gives the deck a shuffle. Performer turns half of the deck face up and half stays face down. The spectator is asked to remember if her card is in the face-up or face-down portion. The performer spreads the face-up portion. Then the portions are separated and the performer continues with his dream where he took a card crumpled it up and it vanished in mid air to reappear face up in the tabled portion....

Inspired by the name of a Dave Mayer routine entitled The Black Spotted Wooden Egg referenced by name only in a 1989 IBM Ring report, I constructed this five-minute routine for the venerable die box that has now entertained audiences for two decades. Between two volunteers acting out their parts on stage, and the entire audience creating the sound effects necessary for the story, no one is left without a part to play in this routine. It just might bring your die box out of the drawer.
