Leave Those Jacks Alone! - This fun-filled adventure will drag your spectators into your world. You have the spectator freely select four cards and then she signs a fifth card. Remarkably, the signed card visibly transposes from the packet, into the deck. This amazing transport is easy to do and the four selections are shown to be the four Jacks ... which you just told her not to pick. You're gonna love this one!

Mulling Over Mexican JoeJon Racherbaumer
'Mexican Joe' refers to a specially crimped card or deck, one that is crimped at diagonal corners in opposite directions.
The first person to publish anything on this crimp was Victor Farelli when he published Farelli's Card Magic. Several years passed before another mention is made. This time it was explained in Dai Vernon's More Inner Secrets of Card Magic. Racherbaumer collects a number of routines and ideas with this crimp. In so doing he weaves his way through some interesting nooks and crannies of card magic history.

The Mind Reader Encephalonic DossierBob Farmer
"Bob Farmer is an interesting man, who creates interesting magic, and that's all one would need to know. With Mind Reader he has once again topped himself, as it might very well blow your mind!" - Roberto Giobbi
"Compared to fully gaffed decks that accomplish the same effect, Bob's work gets you to the selected card faster and leaves you with a deck that can be examined/used for other effects. Final Rating (1-10, 10 being best): I rate this a solid 8 on 10 and a strong recommendation, especially if you are a fan of Bob's other works." - Chris Aguilar

This is a wonderful version of the classic matrix effect - four coins and four cards. Each coin starts under one card in 4 different places. Eventually, all coins assemble magically one by one under one card. The description includes a beautiful display move that allows you to show a card in one hand while you hide a coin in the same. ExhaleSteven PalmerExhale is a utility technique / force that enables the performer to force a card on a spectator as the spectator shuffles and cuts the deck. It is a combination of ideas and techniques from the literature that have been streamlined and added to. Included are several routines I have used the technique with. The exhale technique is essentially self-working and seems impossible to the spectator as the spectator does all the work.

Cull-MinationJon RacherbaumerCulling (cards) is not a particularly fashionable technique. During the past forty years, card magicians started to pay closer attention to various ideas and techniques, especially those having broad application. In this treatise three types of culls will be examined:
- Desired cards are secretly culled during the logical and natural course of an effect.
- Free selections are controlled (culled) to desired positions during a visible procedure that looks fair and
above board.
- A cull done during another fair procedure that results in separating the four suits in Ace to King order.

Encyclopedia of Self-Working Card TricksGlenn G. GravattThis is a marvelous compilation of mostly easy and sleightless, or as it is usually called self-working, card tricks. Some effects do require moves such as palming, and a good false shuffle and false cut will go a long way to make many otherwise sleightless effects much stronger. But for the most part no sleights are necessary to perform the vast majority of effects taught.

It is to be hoped that the reader will not have to go far in this book before he realizes and appreciates that this is not just another book, collection, or compilation of card tricks. It is expected... | ★★★★★ $39.50 to wish listPDF |

Future Test is a 'packs small plays big' kind of effect. Actually packs very small in your wallet and plays very big to a full room or in a virtual show or even over a video call. This effect is done on the back of your business card which you can later leave with the participant as a souvenir or send over to the participant's phone as a virtual image as a 'digital souvenir'.

Pseudo Chronicles 1Steven Palmer... is that spectator shuffles the deck, following which small piles of cards are shown to him while the performer has his head turned. The spectator just thinks of one of the cards that are shown. The rest of the face-down deck is dealt off on top of the potential selections losing his thought of card in the process. The spectator is asked to focus on the selection and the performer proceeds to reveal it.
I think of this routine as the little brother of “Void” but it lacks none of its power. The astute reader will see the multiple possibilities of the linguistic technique at play here in other routines, not just cards. Also included in this... | ★★★★★ $12 to wish listPDF |
