It is unclear when this book was originally published, but it does reprint some illustrations from The Expert at the Card Table which means it must be after 1902. Our best guess is that this was published during the 1920s.
From the preface:

Inizia, così, una divertentissima serie di rocambolesche previsioni, tutte su un unico foglio che estrae dalla busta e che va mano a mano dispiegando, in cui dimostra di aver "previsto (?) Incredible Instant Insanity PredictionSam Dalal... the manuscript you're about to enjoy, I must admit that I felt a twinge of jealousy over the fact that I hadn't thought of this direction myself. But I didn't — and I'm extremely pleased that Sam did.
You will be, too.

Maybe You ThinkJoseph B.Determine the card selected and the sum cast with two dice in a novel and very deceptive way.
You show a deck of cards, shuffle it and while you look away the spectator throws the two dice, adds the points shown, removes that many cards and remembers the lowest card in the removed packet. The dice are covered so that the performer can't see them. Now comes the unusual thing. The removed packet is inserted by the spectator somewhere in the middle of the pack. Then the spectator cuts and with a rosetta shuffle the cards are shuffled. This is immediately followed by any number of riffle and... | $6 to wish listMP4 (video) |
Whispers of the Stygian VeilMystic Alexandre
In darkness deep, a chart does lie,
"Whispers of the Stygian Veil" by and by.
Penned by the Devil's cunning hand,
Wisdom you must strive to understand.
Cast the die into the abyss,
And await, the Devil's kiss.
Each outcome, a secret, sealed and true.
The Devil's advice, just for you.
With bated breath, as dice doth land,
Await the counsel, Devil's hand.
For in these "Whispers," deep and grave,
Lie devilish knowledge, for the brave.
Prepare for wisdoms to unveil,
From the haunting "Whispers of the Stygian Veil."
Unearth the Devil's own advice especially for you with every... | $6.66 to wish listPDF |
