Peter first became fascinated by magic at the age of eight after his uncle showed him some magic tricks using cards, coins, matches and chalk. But it was the cards that held his deepest interest, and so began a learning process that continues to the present day.
Peter’s chief mentor was, and still is, Roy Walton. Others whom he met and had a profound influence on his path include, Gordon Bruce, Andy Galloway, Tommy Frederick, Fred Robinson, Dave Campbell, Eric Mason, Ken Brooke, Peter Kane, Alex Elmsley, Pat Page, Phil Goldstein, Gene Maze, Richard Kaufman and Dai Vernon.
A past winner of the Scottish Conjuror’s Association Close-up competition and the British... Bridge was introduced in the late 19th century and is a derivative of Whist which appeared in England in the 16th century. Today's popular version "Contract Bridge" was perfected by Harold S. Vanderbilt, American multi-millionaire and three-time America's Cup winner, in 1925. It incorporated many of the most popular principles and also produced a scoring table.
The game of bridge is as rich in strategies and tactics as chess, but it is a much more social game where four players play in teams of two against each other. There is also a larger surprise component since you do not see the cards your opponents hold whereas in chess you clearly see your opponents position and you can study it... ★★★★★ $7 Magical ExperimentsArthur Good The best way of learning new things is doing them. Magical Experiments or Science in Play is a fascinating collection of kitchen table top experiments with every day household goods. Many of which have a 'magical' twist to them, in the sense that it is for the unfamiliar observer not quite clear how these tricks are performed, or what the physical mechanisms behind them are. More than 150 experiments are described with gorgeous lithographs. This book was originally written in French and later translated to English. This in itself is a proof of quality, otherwise the translation would not have... ★★★★★ $5 Practical HypnotismEd Wolff This complete mini-course in hypnotism starts with the assumption that the reader knows nothing about the subject at all and then rapidly leads him, step by step, to the point where he can hypnotize perfect strangers. It is succinct, no nonsense and unpadded. Its slim 33 pages are jammed with the essential information one needs to become successful in the art of hypnotism. In the first section comprised of eight lessons Mr. Wolff
stresses strongly that you achieve the goals in each chapter before increasing your skills. In these chapters he teaches many “tests” and various ways to hypnotize.... ★★★★★ $28 From The Other SideDaniel Young Turn your Himber wallet, or more precisely your mini-Himber wallet, into a versatile weapon!
Daniel has been very uncertain whether or not to release this ebook. Mainly because it is hard to market, because you will know the secret before you even buy it, or so you think. "Alright, just a bunch of effects with a Himber wallet." But trust him when he says, this is not what you think it is. The few people who have actually read this so far, are all intrigued by it. It all started with one realisation, a concept that sprung to mind, a handling of the Himber wallet that has never been seen before.... $9 Scarne on TeekoJohn Scarne ... checkers and chess in strategy.
Said to combine the principles of tic-tac-toe, checkers and chess, plus several entirely new game principles, Teeko surpasses these and other games for sheer fun and enjoyment, and is the new best-selling sensation that is certain to go down in history as one of the greatest games of all time.
Teeko can be learned in a minute by any youngster (it is fine training for observation, concentration and judgment) but Teeko cannot be memorized or "mastered". This is because the four red pieces and the four black pieces have well over one million possible... $12 The Magic of MemoryThomas Harrington A number of effects in magic, and in life, succeed because one person is doing something mentally that other people assume is beyond human capacity. This ebook explores one such phenomenon--memory for numbers, items and events. Over the course of several thousand years a procession of mnemonics pioneers have successively augmented human power to deal with numbers by evolving a collection of clever ways to think more effectively about them. These methods, largely unknown to the general population, have the potential for greatly expanding human mental capacity. For instance, the average human’s... ★★★★★ $8 The I.M.P. SystemPete Wilton A system to make remembering numbers as easy as one two buckle your shoe. Learn this system and remember numbers with ease.
After several years struggling to learn the memory systems from other sources Pete developed the I.M.P Memory System. Other systems require complicated rules to be learned before you can remember numbers. With the I.M.P Memory System you will begin recalling numbers of any length much sooner than with other systems.
Turn the boring abstract into a vibrant image easily with the I.M.P Memory System!

This is a double prediction effect with the second prediction coming as a surprise, despite the fact that you state you have two predictions at the outset! Sometimes used as a synonym for Voodoo (a term related to the Dahomean word for spirit, vodun, and the more generalized West African juju), "hoodoo" technically refers to magical practices... $9 Hypnotism and SuggestionEdwin Ash Edwin Ash was a celebrated medical doctor who practiced and lectured in London. He was published in the Lancet which is to this day the most important and respected peer reviewed medical journal.
As the subtitle 'A Practical Handbook' suggests, this is a work for the practitioner. It covers various methods to induce hypnosis, describes muscular and sensory phenomena, post-hypnotic influence, suggestive therapeutics, and a lot more.

What I like about this is that Scott is so complete in his explanations. His use of photos is spot-on.
