Dream Card LightPaul A. LelekisAll patter and two excellent videos are included. My favorite effect of all time is my version of Dream Card, which was in my most popular e-book, My Favorites, and I have received accolades from professional magicians around the world for this effect. My second favorite is Dream Card Light which I have been very apprehensive about sharing because it is such a powerful effect - and it's easier to do than Dream Card ... and I've loved this trick for years. This is more than just an impossible effect ... it is theater. The patter is so very powerful, that it is exactly what will be remembered most - and... | $8 to wish listPDF & MP4
Dream DealAldo ColombiniAn unbelievable routine in three phases with a regular deck of cards and totally impromptu. You have in your possession a great effect by the late George Blake. The routine, in three phases, starts by having you dealing four 'hands' of five cards each. A spectator selects a packet and thinks of a card and you reveal it. The card is placed back in the deck and again, with a different method, you reveal it. Once again, the card is replaced and revealed with a third way to conclude a very exciting routine. All three phases involve spelling. The effect needs no set-up, can be done with a borrowed deck of cards,... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish listMP4 (video)
Dream PokerGeorge BlakeThis is a great routine using just a regular deck of cards - totally impromptu and no sleight-of-hand; in three entertaining phases. You have in your possession a great routine by the late George Blake (written originally in Magigram magazine). George is also giving you here the patter that he used. Just perform the routine as written and the whole thing works itself. The effect needs no set-up and can be done with a borrowed deck of cards. 1st edition 2007; 14 pages. | $10 to wish list
Dream Poker with a KickerHerb Rungay & Ken de CourcyThis is a multi-stage multi-climax routine with a deck of cards. If you already know George Blake's Dream Poker, you will love this one. There is a lot of magic here - very easy to do (it is almost automatic…). You repeatedly find a chosen card with seemingly impossible conditions, by logic, by spelling it out and by chance. Then you deal to the spectator a Royal Flush in Spades in a freely chosen position on the table. And finally the spectator finds his chosen card in the deck that he had shuffled, by spelling it himself! From the foreword: Frank Lane, in his book, "Help Yourself", published in 1931, wrote:... | ★★★★★ $5 to wish list
DreamworkJon RacherbaumerSeveral decades ago Bob Hummer invented a new principle which caused a short-lived stir among cardicians. The effect was called "The Mindreader's Dream". It sounds too good to be true: A spectator merely thinks of a card and performs a few, unseen dealing procedures with a deck of cards. The magician briefly scans the cards, consults a "dream book," and then names the mentally selected card. Racherbaumer collects in this ebook several improvements and variations on this basic principle, including the original Hummer method. The contributors are an eclectic group of specialists including Justin Higham,... | ★★★★★ $5 to wish list
Dreamwork 2Jon RacherbaumerThis short compilation follows on the heels of another compilation titled Dreamwork. Both relate to Bob Hummer's "The Midreader's Dream." Bob Hummer introduced to the magic world many interesting principles and effects. One of the first to make a splash was introduced in 1952. The dreamy dealer ad seemed too good to be true: A spectator merely thinks of a card and then performs a few, unseen dealing procedures with a deck of cards. The magician, whose back was turned throughout these actions, turns and faces the spectator. He takes the deck, briefly scans the cards, and consults a "dream book." He then names... | ★★★★★ $16 to wish list

DuetPeter DuffiePOINT BLANK ASSEMBLY gives you the maximum effect for the minimum effort. Four Kings change places one at a time with four blank cards. The transposition is repeated only this time it occurs instantly. Finally the four Kings disappear altogether. [You will need four blank-faced cards and four kings of which three have blank backs.] IMPULSE starts as a transposition effect between a selected card and a blank card but ends with a finish that those who have seen it describe as 'NOT POSSIBLE'. Truly original thinking. [You will need three blank-faced cards. One is gimmicked. The gimmick is easy to make with a pair of scissors, paper and glue.] 1st edition 1984, 1st digital edition 2013, 13 pages.... | $7 to wish listPDF & EPUB

DumbfoundedDevin KnightAn amazing coincidence that goes beyond ACAAN. Effect: The performer shows a blue deck of cards and shuffles it until he feels psychically inclined to stop. He really does not know the order of the cards. The deck is returned to its case and given to a participant to hold. The performer never touches the blue deck again. A red deck is now shown and shuffled by the performer. He has a second participant freely select a card from the red deck. The participant may change his mind, as there is no force. Next, a number is obtained by chance. No mathematics are involved and there is no force of... | ★★★★★ $9 to wish list
Dunbury DelusionAllan AckermanA card is selected and returned to the deck. The performer cuts to a random position to show an indicator card. The value of the indicator card is used to count to another card which the performer thinks is the chosen card. However, the indicator card was already the spectator chosen card. So it appears as the performer messed up. Nevertheless, everything straightens out magically and the card counted to is the spectator card and the card counted off are the aces.

Dunbury DelusionsJon Racherbaumer"It is one of the very best tricks which can be done for close-up work." - Hugard and Braue from Show Stoppers With Cards From the Foreword: The Dunbury Delusion has an illustrious pedigree that has been up, down, and all around the magic scene for at least 100 years. Charlie Miller's method that was published in Expert Card Technique in 1940, more or less branded his name on it, but seven year earlier Victor Farelli published a modified version ("The Partagas Sell") in Farelli's Card Magic. He did not claim paternity but credited a Spanish magician named Partagas who apparently taught him the trick in 1908. Basic Plot: A selection "lost" in a deck is successfully found by using three... | ★★★★★ $16 to wish list

DupedCameron FrancisLooking for a killer card effect that's practical, that instantly resets and can be done completely in the hands without a table? Then Duped is the trick you've been searching for! Effect: A card is selected, noted and lost in the pack. We'll say this card is the Eight of Clubs. The magician then pulls out a packet of four cards. He turns over the top card, a Two of Hearts, and slips it into the middle of the packet. It instantly rises to the top. This is repeated two more times. The magician says, "When I do this, people assume that I use duplicates. Well, they're right." All the cards... | $10 to wish list
DuplexKevin SchallerDuplex is a card rising effect from the mind of Kevin Schaller. It builds and improves on an old theme which allows you to show the box from all sides as well as allows you to show the box completely empty before you insert the deck. A freely chosen and signed card is lost into the deck and the deck is put back into the box. Without any funny moves the signed card starts to rise all the way out of the box. The best part of the trick is that there are no threads, wires, weights, rubber bands or magnets - just the box and the deck. No forcing. No cellophane needed. Box can be shown empty... | ★★★★★ $4.95 to wish listMP4 (video) |
