This is a multi-phase impromptu routine using three borrowed quarters or other found objects - just an introductory "attention grabber" I have used for many decades.

One coin penetrates your hand, then all three. With full attention now, the coins migrate one at a time to the other hand - not a 3Fly as the coins are waist high and the hands are shown empty between phases (no gaff or extra).

Dopo la consueta introduzione in campo storico, Tarbell parla dell’utilità della Prestigiazione nel campo degli affari . La lezione prosegue poi con una bella carrellata di trucchi con le corde spiegati come sempre in maniera dettagliata:

1. la famosa corda tagliata e ricomposta di Kellar, con il quale questo famoso illusionista ha lasciato perplessi molti maghi. Un pezzo di corda viene tagliato a metà da uno spettatore e i due pezzi vengono tenuti separatamente. Le due estremità della corda vengono legare assieme ed ecco che il taglio sparisce e la corda è ricomposta!

Ecco la prima lezione tutta pratica! Dopo aver introdotto un classico principio con le corde che permette di ottenere spettacolari effetti da scena. Seguono poi diverse belle routines tutte basate su questo principio

The magician asks for a card to be selected and also takes out the joker. After the selection has been noted and signed he buries the card inside the deck and places the deck on the table. He riffles the inner edge with his thumb and suddenly flicks the face up joker into the deck. The face up joker is seen to stick out at a certain portion of the deck until the very last moment before it is pushed in flush with the deck and the deck is immediately spread to show that the joker landed right next to the selection.
