Make money in reading a person's drawing.
There are many methods known as projective techniques. A wide range of materials can be used to stimulate projective responses. The five main types of response are: Associations to words or ink spots, Construction of stories, Arranging or choosing visual or verbal alternatives, and expression through drawings.
Peter Stammers explains in this ebook how you can perform a reading using a drawing. It is a simplified version of the "House Tree Person" analysis method and is not a system for "any" drawing. This is a unique and scientifically based method....
This ebook is aimed at giving psychic readings for entertainment using normal playing cards or coins which can be borrowed. We begin with a simple but effective card reading system that can be used in a very short time to give quite insightful readings. You are led through various advanced techniques which provide even greater depth and meaning for the client.
The coin readings mostly follow an impromptu approach to the point of borrowing the coins used for the reading. This of course provides an almost perfect hook. We finish with an impromptu method for the I-Ching which once mastered (in...
Paul Voodini works professionally as a mind-reader, psychic and mentalist. Having worked for many years alongside the UK's most popular "shut eye" mediums and clairvoyants, he has studied their performance techniques and is now able to present to you the subtle art of ungimmicked mind-reading - as practised by mediums, clairvoyants and psychics around the world. However there will be no talking with dead people! What Paul presents here is a totally new approach to mind-reading, free from billet switches, centre tears, electronic gimmickry and accomplices. This is "hands free" mind-reading, made...
Why dice?
Barry wanted a reading system that could be performed in the hands, sitting down or just walking around, that didn't require a table or a spread. That could be done inside or outside, regardless of the weather conditions. Something that didn't get soiled, torn, blown away or that water would ruin. So cards were out. Runes and stones fit the bill, but to get different coloured ones and of the same size isn't easy. Barry needed a uniform size and nothing too esoteric. Dice fit this description and are easily available.
Long before tarot and runes, soothsayers used to cast bones,...
A reading system with playing cards
This effect is entitled Anti Tarot for two reasons. Firstly, it dispenses with tarot cards, using playing cards instead; secondly, the most important card in the reading is never seen by the reader. Instead of reading the cards and telling the spectator what should happen to them, the reader hears what has happened to the spectator and tells them what their chosen card should be.
Learn how Docc Hilford flies first class when he only has coach tickets. A crash course in palm reading spiced up with magic.
Recorded live at the Convention at the Capital 1998.
runtime: 9min 48s
To the spectator this effect looks no different to a tarot reading. The tarot cards are not handled in a tell-tale 'card trick' manner. To the spectator, there is no possible way that you, the reader, could know what card they chose. Yet you can discuss the impressions you get from the deck - what the tarot is telling you - and ultimately reveal their card. How you reveal their card is up to you. Are you reading their mind, seeing images of their card in their thoughts or is the tarot deck itself is drawing you towards their card? Perhaps there is a perfectly rational psychological explanation...

Cartomancy for the Non-Cartomancer is a collection of two treatises on the art of giving readings with cards. The best card trick John ever did was to tell a diner cook "everything going on around me". You can do the same. Not overnight, but quickly and easily. No cold reading, no spiel reading, no gimmicks or gaffs, just plain old fashioned fortune telling.

I've been working on an act designed specifically for comedy clubs based on the premise of "a wicked pack of cards." I have a 'volunteer' select a card, and I then proceed to give the worst possible interpretation of it."Madame Sosostris, famous clairvoyant had a bad cold, nonetheless was known to be the wisest woman in Europe with a wicked pack of cards." - T.S. Eliot, "The Wasteland"
The deck I'm using is "Morgan's Tarot," an unusual 86-card deck that bears little relationship with a normal Tarot deck. I found its simple black and white drawings and irreverent card titles to be apropos...

At a recent lecture at the Magic Castle where Stan sold all of his books and tapes, by far the best seller was this ebook. Everyone reads their horoscope in the paper or on the net. The interest in horoscopes, numerology and numbers has never been greater. In this ebook Stan tells you how to market this newfound skill the very first day you buy the ebook. Included are venues, the psych code and drawings of his fair booth set up. No other business in show biz offers so much return for so little investment.

In Appendix One of The Real Work of Cold Reading Bob included a cursory overview of a numerological system that could also be applied to the tarot or to regular playing cards. In The Psychic Tarot he has expanded on that and provided a detailed system of interpretation that will be accepted by those who have a general familiarity with the cards. As suggested in The Real Work of Cold Reading, the interpretations of the individual cards are derived - with the exception of the Major Arcana - by combining the general meanings assigned to the cards' suits with the numerological meanings assigned to their values. This is not only simpler and more practical...
Brad Henderson taught it to Dance. Kross put it Into the Deep Freeze and Herb Dewey made it Red Hot. In The Real Work of Cold Reading Cassidy makes it explosive and blows it into another dimension.
A good deal of what has been written about cold reading is theoretically and practically wrong and/or misinformed.
