I'll PassWesley James... of situations you are most likely to encounter. Each is described in full detail in the pages of this volume.
If Gambling demonstrations are your favorite area of pursuit, after reading the pages of I'll Pass you'll be able to perform the legendary "Ping Pong Shift." I'm not talking about the Vernon theory, as shared with Faucett Ross, but the real "Ping Pong Shift." The technique is so deceptive it could get by without question in even the strictest card game.
I'll Pass includes Wesley's celebrated detailed descriptions, commentary and the secrets that make Wesley's Passes among the... | ★★★★★ $60 to wish listPDF |

The Book of Thirty-OneTotoFrom the preface and introduction:
This book could be titled "The Game of Thirty-One Revisited" because of the various articles that have made an attempt to describe the game. Why then did I set out to write this? First, because I consider the game of thirty-one such a delightful diversion from the "norm" that I want to bring it to the attention of the magic fraternity, and second, because I have many ideas I would like to add.
At the Magic Castle, in Hollywood, the game was first shown to me by Dai Vernon in August of 1980. The "Professor" frequently showed me card puzzles that he had learned over... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish listPDF |
Connoisseurs' Coins ThroughSupreme-Magic-CompanyConnoisseurs' Coins Through ... a definitive routine, one of the finest ever for the coins through table. The work of Vernon, Slydini and a host of others combined to give the easiest handling with the maximum effect.
In this routine several coins pass repeatedly through the table. You begin with six coins. Three of the coins pass through the table top two times. Then you eliminate two coins and repeat the penetration through the table with four coins. Again, you eliminate two coins and repeat the trick with two coins. At the end you eliminate another coin and repeat the penetration a last... | ★★★★★ $6 to wish listPDF |

Picnic PocusJon RacherbaumerThis manuscript is about one trick that incorporates a seminal sorting procedure now given the name Belcho's Disbursive Deal. Over the years the trick eventually morphed into an organized compilation that shares the same identifiable title: "Poker Player's Picnic."
It begins with Vernon Lux, an enterprising amateur who founded the International Society of Junior Magician in 1931 and began a magazine called The Dragon in 1932. Therein Oscar Weigle had a column called "Themes and Schemes" where he explained a trick called "The Million to One Trick." (Later it was changed to
"Belchou's Aces.") It's unclear... | ★★★★★ $18 to wish listPDF |

Mulling Over Mexican JoeJon Racherbaumer
'Mexican Joe' refers to a specially crimped card or deck, one that is crimped at diagonal corners in opposite directions.
The first person to publish anything on this crimp was Victor Farelli when he published Farelli's Card Magic. Several years passed before another mention is made. This time it was explained in Dai Vernon's More Inner Secrets of Card Magic. Racherbaumer collects a number of routines and ideas with this crimp. In so doing he weaves his way through some interesting nooks and crannies of card magic history.

One More Thought on CardsJ. Stewart Smith... really delighted with 'One More Thought On Cards.' It is, in my opinion, the best — the very best ever written, explaining how to present and handle this type of effect.
