Another trick that fooled the best cardmen in the world.
"This is a fooler! The Unnamed Magician has created an impenetrable mystery that not even your magician friends will be able to figure out. It's really well constructed and how he gains the secret knowledge is ingenious!" - Marc Paul
"A truly diabolical method which will fool even the most knowledgeable of card magicians!" - Matt Baker
"There aren't many creators reaching the same standard as Unnamed Magician when it comes to creating real mind puzzling card effects; you need to be Alan Turing to break these codes. In this effect you are...
Spectator freely chooses a card which he signs. Performer hole punches the signed card and magically attaches and then magically removes a ring. The hole punched card can be handed out for inspection.
The book is divided into eleven chapters. We have already spoken of Chapter 1. Chapter 2, an 8-page explanation of the tricks of fake mediums, will add little to the knowledge of the well-read magician. Chapter 3 (22 pages) is a first-class description of the "flourish" known as "card fanning" and the production of card fans by means of the "back palm." This chapter has 7 pages of exceptionally fine halftone cuts. Chapter 4 consists of 26 pages of card tricks, several of which are very good. Chapter 5 (16 pages), on "close-up magic" with string, matches, and other small...
This ebook contains a large collection of visual magic including 20 impromptu card mysteries, 12 mathematical mysteries, 10 prepared card mysteries, 11 coin mysteries, and 6 miscellaneous mysteries. The focus is on card magic but you will also find mentalism, coins, rubber bands, drinking straws, paper money and other types of magic. Illustrated by Tony Dunn with a foreword by Allan Ackerman.
A couple of highlights are:
ITH Triumph: An in the hands triumph effect with three distinct phases.
Impromptu Terror: An impromptu moving hole effect with a card signed by the spectator...
... created. Four spectators draw whatever they wish on blank file cards. The performer correctly identifies who drew what, and brings the demonstration to an exciting climax by duplicating the final drawing while it is still laying face down on the table. Also included is "Sneaky
Too", a devastating card routine that goes one up on the original.
Intuition: An invisible "hold-out" that enables you to perform a myriad of puzzling effects. Included are two routines, one for close-up and the other presentation for stage use.
Get The Picture: Larry White's "X-ray vision" design duplication using...
... thoughts that involves every single spectator and plays huge even on the largest stage:
A clear wine-glass is seen on a table center-stage, containing a black envelope with a prediction. Before or during the show, the spectators are asked to concentrate on a single thought, write it down on a card and seal it in an opaque envelope. They really can write down whatever they like, there is no force whatsoever. At your command, they all throw their envelopes onto the stage creating a mess on the floor (hence the title of the effect “Mes(s)merize”). A random spectator selects any one of...
Released is a brand new e-book of card magic that was created by professional magicians Cameron Francis and Liam Montier. If magic were wrestling, these guys would be the Legion of Doom.
Between them, these two whacky chaps have had more than a staggering 12 DVDs and released numerous effects and publications. Both have been hailed for fresh thinking, commercial material, strong effects and plots and simplicity of handling, and taste in shoes.
Now comes their first ever joint effort, which contains 10 brand new and sparkling routines, all designed for practical use.
