A three phased routine that allows you to share the experience of what it feels to be a mentalist.

PHASE I – UNCONSCIOUS COGNITION
5 Cards with ESP symbols are laid face down in a row towards the participant. The performer introduces another set of 5, lays them face up in a row towards himself. With a little thought the performer points to a card from his row and the participant to point a card from their row and it matches.

PHASE II – THOUGHT IDENTIFICATION
The performer draws one of the symbols on a card and the spectator correctly guesses which one has been drawn.

Two DIY card-marking systems for the ones who like to take things into their own hands. Pigment & Pixel 3.0 has two marking systems designed for the standard Bicycle Rider back design. The performer caught without props, grabs a piece of paper and writes down a prediction, which is entrusted to an audience member for safekeeping. He explains that he anticipated such a situation, recounting how he shuffled a deck of cards weeks ago, then dealt them one by one on a table while being filmed.
