Four cards are freely selected which represent the evil rings. Performer claims that among the four cards, only one card will represent the genuine ring and the performer attempts to mix the cards randomly in order to find out which card represents...

A card is chosen, travels to the pocket, but turns out to be the wrong card. Visibly 'flick' the diamonds off of the wrong card. They flutter to the floor, leaving you holding the selection.

This is of intermediate difficulty. You will need to be able to force and control a card to the top. And you will also need to do a top change. No palming required.

A blue backed deck is shown. A card is removed, and placed aside. The deck is spread face down. It is seen that all of the cards have blue backs, except for one card which has a red back. Two cards are now very randomly chosen, and their values are added together. Let's assume that the total is "13" (the actual total is up to you!). The deck is turned face up (in every instance) and the cards are dealt one at a time until the 13th (or whatever value was chosen) card is dealt. Let's say that the 13th card is the Queen of Clubs. The performer introduces two red-back cards from his pocket and places them face down on the surface. He then tells a tale of association and how he always associates these two cards with coffee and cigarettes as these very cards where used in a trick shown to him by a good friend over coffee and cigarettes. The said friend is explained to be no longer living. The spectator is given a blue-back deck and invited to deal any two cards from the deck without looking at them. The spectator is then invited to turn over the red-back cards...one of which...the 2 of Diamonds is seen...
