Invisibly switch a folded playing card (bill, cash, sugar pack, ...) against another right in front of their eyes.

Destined to be in your EDC (everyday carry). A real crowd-pleaser. A perfect close-up and table-hopping effect. A very fast, angle-proof, and up-close transformation with spectator involvement. Not a thumb-tip. This effect uses a homemade gimmick that most homes would have. The gimmick takes about five minutes to make. Both playing cards can be inspected.

You can also change bills, billets, cash a check, change sugar to sweeten low, etc.

2002 and a small lecture tour. Harris needed an oddity that would contrast his card work. Some visual and aural distraction. TacTics was the answer. 150 units were assembled, fingers burned, and instructions written. The item was quite popular and did end up in an issue of Genii. Here is the original manuscript, re-edited and with clear photos. Ideas with color-changes, sound-based illusion and the "Milk Pitcher" application allowing you to vanish tictacs, half a container at a time, till they're ALL GONE!

After Tarbell finished his 60 lesson Tarbell Course he decided to continue with post-graduate lessons. The name post-graduate stems from the fact that Tarbell sent out graduation diplomas for all who followed along his 60 lesson course. To my knowledge he only published one such post-graduate lesson.
