We received so many requests for these rubber bands that we decided to offer them separately from the Shuber Blades. The blades will hold forever, but the rubber bands will eventually deteriorate or break. With this package you can get replacement bands for your Shuber Blades.

The performer has a card selected, no force, and returned to the deck. The deck is shuffled and 7 or 8 cards are dealt face down into an arc shape. The performer introduces his card case and says this is his pet, CASEY. Casey is well trained and can find selected cards. That is because he is a pointer. (Pun Intended.) This is a fun routine in which two cards are selected from two different colored packets. The selected cards trade packets 3 times, each time seemingly more impossible than the last. The methods are intriguing because the "move" comes after the effect. At first glance, this routine will appear complicated and convoluted. However, after working through the routine, and getting comfortable and familiar with it, you will see that it is rather simple.

Effect: The performer introduces a deck of cards that has swimsuit models on the cards. It is explained to a male spectator that he is going to go on a date with one of these 52 girls. All he has to do is psychically determine her phone number.

You bring out 5 cards, which are numbered 1 through 10. All of the odd numbers are on one side of the cards, and all of the even numbers are on the other side of the cards. EFFECT #1: The magician opens up a card wallet displaying some playing cards torn in four pieces, each of them held by a rubber band. He explains, "Those are a few of the wrong predictions I've made in the past. Since then, I've learnt to keep being positive. Effect: Four cards are selected from a deck and tabled face down in a row. The first selection is turned face up, it is the 10S. The magician explains he has previously turned one card over with the same suit in a four-of-a-kind packet. An odd-backed packet is introduced as the magician says he was actually so sure of the spectator's choice that he replaced the other cards with Jokers. You invite two spectators to help in this experiment. You remove a deck of cards casually show them face up while you remove the joker. They are placed face down on the table. You ask one of the spectators to cut off a block and look at a card. Not to remove it, just THINK of it. You really don't know what card the person is thinking about! The selection is made in the spectator's hands. The magician isn't touching the cards. The person doesn't write the card down, he merely thinks of it.

The deck is then picked up by you and mixed...

This is a multi-stage multi-climax routine with a deck of cards. If you already know George Blake's Dream Poker, you will love this one.

There is a lot of magic here - very easy to do (it is almost automatic…). You repeatedly find a chosen card with seemingly impossible conditions, by logic, by spelling it out and by chance. Then you deal to the spectator a Royal Flush in Spades in a freely chosen position on the table. And finally the spectator finds his chosen card in the deck that he had shuffled, by spelling it himself!

Effect:

The magician displays a pack of cards and a prediction (one card between the two Jokers, all held by a rubber band). He deals the cards from the top of the pack until the spectator says "stop". He is asked to remember the suit of his first selection.

The deck is gathered and the value of the first card is used to find another card. He is asked to remember the value of his second selection.

Pluck a selected card from within a shuffled deck inside a closed card box in the spectators jacket pocket! In less of a second!

Detailed Effect:

The spectator selects a card and shows it to the audience and memorizes it, the spectator puts it back anywhere in the deck and then shuffles the cards, then the spectator slides the complete deck into the card case, closes the flap. The spectator puts the card case with the deck in his own outer/external pocket on his jacket. The magician shows his hands empty (the magician can roll up his sleeves, more convincing) and he pulls the correct card...

You may have seen something similar in a stage version from Martin Lewis. Ralf got his inspiration from Martin's effect and worked out a pocket version of it that uses a sticky note pad.
