Editors Barry Govan, Ian Baxter, Murray Cooper and Gerry McCreanor churned out a much-discussed journal that featured contributions from the likes of Ed Marlo, Jon Racherbaumer, Tom Gagnon, Dan Tong, Ray Grismer, Phil Goldstein, Jeff Busby, Jerry Mentzer, Harry Lorayne, et al. The Magical Arts Journal was a monthly magazine published by Michael Ammar and Adam Fleischer in the 80's. Each issue, now a collectable, contains a wealth of information on effects, business, theory and stories on magic. It is a ground breaking magical publication devoted to both the art and business of magic that was published and edited by FISM world champion magician Michael Ammar and magic publishing and event production innovator Adam J. Fleischer.

This is a very special and final issue of the Magical Arts Journal - a magazine published by Michael Ammar and Adam J. Fleischer in the mid-1980's. This is Volume 3, Issues 1-5. The Aspen Bar Magic issue covers Doc Eason, of the Tower Bar and Restaurant in Aspen, Colorado, as well as other famous bar magicians. It is loaded with world-class bar and restaurant magic! Michael Ammar includes some of his best material, as does many other contributors.

This is the special "Double Issue" of MAJ featuring the magic from the French magic publication, Arcane. At the time of this special issue, Arcane was a bi-monthly magazine published in France by Jean Yves Prost and Michel Balandras. The magazine featured the who's-who in magic, and yet was mostly unknown to English-speaking magicians. This was the English language debut. Michael was allowed to hand-pick material from the 13 year old publication to include in the this double issue. See the incredible table of contents below. The issue even includes the Hofzinser Spread Control, which Michael uses frequently...
