Mixed SymbolsJim SistiThe performer hands five ESP cards, each bearing a different symbol, to a spectator and requests that he remember one. The spectator is then asked to shuffle the cards. The magician takes the cards back and, after an apparently fair mixing procedure, correctly divines the selected symbol without even looking at the faces. The method uses an old mathematical ploy but it is dressed up differently here. This effect was featured in the May 2005 issue of Magic Magazine. 1st digital edition 2014, 2 pages. | ★★★★★ $4 to wish list
Magic with an ESP DeckSam DalalThe original Magic With An ESP Deck was written in 1972 as an “instruction manual” to go with an ESP Deck marketed as a magic prop. The mimeographed manuscript contained a hand full of good self working effects with an ESP Deck, written and produced over a couple of days. Sam Dalal thought no more of this than the hundreds of similar manuscripts and instruction sheets he has written over the years for commercial magic items. He was delighted when he found the book had achieved the status of a reference book on the subject. Republished by Micky Hades, references to this manuscript popped... | ★★★★★ $5 to wish list
ESPerienceAbhinav BothraA three phased easy to do routine that gives your spectator an experience of what it feels to be a mentalist. Phase 1: 5 business cards are shown, each having the ESP symbols and are laid face down towards them. The performer introduces another set of 5, with a little thought points to one of them and asks them to point a card in their pile which they think matches the performer's card. They do so, and it matches. Phase 2: The performer draws one of the symbols on a business card and the spectator correctly guess which one has been drawn. Phase 3: The spectator is asked if he remembers... | ★★★★★ $5 to wish list
ESP in ColorRaphaël CzajaFind two thought-of E.S.P. cards without even looking at the deck. A deck of 25 colored E.S.P. cards (a.k.a. Zener cards) is introduced. It contains five different symbols in five different colors. In other words, every card is unique. The magician shuffles the deck and tables it. After he turns his back, two spectators remove a card from the deck. They create their own card — combining the symbol on one card and the color on the other card — and hide their selections face down under the cardbox. The magician faces the spectators again and asks them to visualize their thought-of... | $5 to wish list
SymbolicsR. ShaneThese are three self-working routines with ESP cards with the general theme 'impossible coincidences', facilitated by a cyclic stack. (Two effects are based on work by Werner Miller from his Ear-Marked book, and one routine is from Shane's book Automata.) As always with Shane, you don't just get a routine and method, but the reasons why these routines work, what is important and how you can change or alter them to suit your needs and make them your own.

David's ESP TrickDavid Devlin(not to be confused with David’s E.S.P. Routine) In effect, the performer lays out five cards, each of which has an ESP symbol on in. All of the cards are different and unprepared. Attention is now drawn to a small coin envelope, which, as the performer explains, contains a duplicate of one of the cards on the table. This is the prediction, and is kept in full view throughout the entire proceedings. A spectator now uses his mind to determine which four of the five cards are eliminated. The spectator makes real and honest decisions throughout the elimination process. The envelope is now opened, and it is found... | ★★★★★ $6 to wish list
Consumer ControlDavid BritlandFive ESP cards are laid out on the table. Point to one and push it aside. Point to another and push it aside. Discard two more until just one is left. Do you think I could have predicted that card in advance? A duplicate set of ESP cards has been on view throughout. They are all face down except one. It's your card. Not only that, but it has a completely different colored back from the rest! Consumer Control is simple, easy and direct. No counts, moves or sleight of hand. A baffling demonstration of psychological persuasion. [Note: This ebook does not come with the specially prepared cards. One set of ESP cards is regular. The other set is prepared with rough and smooth but in a very special way. If you have a roughing spray or stick you will be able to make your own cards. You will need ESP cards with two different backs. You will also need two double backers that match the two different backs and two envelopes.] 1st edition 2001, 1st digital edition 2013, 9 pages.... | $6 to wish listPDF & EPUB
ESP: Fact or FictionDavid RobbinsCash in on interest in ESP and mind power with this 15 minute lecture and 30 minute demonstration that you can give. It can be read straight from a printed copy, performed from memory, or better yet, given as a PowerPoint presentation. Use this... | $6 to wish list
FlipperDavid DevlinHere is the effect: a spectator has a packet of 5 cards. For argument's sake, let's assume the five cards used are simply numbered 1-5 (the actual make up of the cards is up to your imagination). The spectator goes through a procedure in which cards are turned face up, face down, left as they are, the packet is cut, some-times the spectator decides whether the cards are turned over or not, sometimes the performer decides. But in the end, no matter who made the decisions, or which decisions were made, only the center card is face up and it is the 4. Not only that, but no matter what decisions... | $7.50 to wish list
Phenomenal ESP PerceptionBob Tripp & Robert A. NelsonA masterful presentation of Extra Sensory Perception wherein five different spectators prove their psychic ability. EFFECT: Five different Jumbo ESP symbol cards are exhibited, and one card each is sealed in a large manila envelope. The envelopes are mixed, so the whereabouts of any given symbol is unknown. Any five spectators volunteer, and name the envelope which they think contains a certain specified symbol card. Spectator's names are each written on an envelope, and their selection is recorded beside their name on a large white board or easel-mounted display card. Each envelope, as... | ★★★★★ $8 to wish list
ESPRalf (Fairmagic) RudolphHere is a straight forward effect which is enabled by a clever gimmick. You ask somebody to think of any one of the five ESP symbols. Then you look deep into their eyes, read their mind, and commit by writing what you read in their mind on a little notebook. Then you ask them to reveal their thoughts. You will be able to show that you wrote down the same symbol.

P. cards. Coincidence and FateDavid Devlin
A shuffled ESP deck is placed on the table. A spectator rolls a pair of dice until satisfied. Using the total on the dice, the spectator deals down into the deck, and places the card at that number off to the side unseen. The deck is reassembled, and a second spectator repeats the process. When the two randomly selected cards are turned over, they match. The performer explains... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish list
