How to lasso a chosen card. Complete methodology as well as script and performance video included. Full performance rights allowed.

It is a version that makes sense. The magician explains that as a child at summer vacation, he learned how to lasso mosquitoes, and he got so good at it, that he learned to actually snap the knot for the lasso onto the rope mid-air. And he thought he'd turn that skill into a trick.

The magician has a card selected. This card is returned to the deck and shuffled by the spectator. After some byplay, the magician drops the cards into a paper bag, puts one end...

Effect: The performer shows a video that displays various card values. A spectator mentally selects one, then mentally tears off a corner of the selected card, and that card corner appears in the phone.

To perform this effect all you need is a phone that can play back an MP4 video. This is not an app and can therefore be performed on pretty much any modern smart phone. Please note that in most cases the card corner will appear in the video that is played back. In some cases the card corner will materialize as actual card corner.

Effekt: Der Künstler zeigt ein Video in dem die verschiedensten Kartenwerte aufgezeigt werden. Ein Zuschauer wählt davon einen gedanklich aus, reisst davon gedanklich eine Ecke ab, und diese erscheint im Handy.

Sie brauchen für diesen Effekt lediglich ein Handy dass ein MP4 Video abspielen kann. Es ist also keine app und kann damit auf jedem moderneren Handy vorgeführt werden. In den meisten Fällen erscheint die Kartenecke im abgespielten Video, in anderen Fällen materialisiert sich die Ecke und erscheint als tatsächliche Spielkartenecke.

Apparently link two cards in an ad hoc impromptu appearing fashion.

Effect: You take two cards and openly tear from each two rectangular windows. This leaves a frame and a center beam in each card. Then you magically link them at the center beam. At the end you separate them again and hand out both cards as souvenirs. The cards will show no tear in the center beam or around the frame. Everybody will wonder how you were able to link them. There is no secret exchange of cards. The two cards you start with are the two cards you end with.

This effect is best done in an off-hand impromptu setting...

This is a digital reproduction of a progressive anagram based book test. It includes a handwritten letter by Stanley Collins to a Will, the instructions, and the force book titled A Holiday in Morocco by S. Martin.

Effect: Spectator chooses three cards from a deck of cards. The first card determines the page, the second the line number, and the third the word. Spectator looks up the word in A Holiday in Morroco book. You are able to determine the chosen word letter by letter. Stanley Collins uses an alphabet deck to reveal each letter.
