This is a wonderfully visual effect. Take a coin throw it at a water bottle, can or other liquid container, and have the coin visibly penetrate the bottle and sink to the bottom.

Introducing a wild test of a spectator's imagination...

A card is selected - say, the King of Hearts - and placed inside the card box. A second card - say, the Five of Spades - is then selected and lost in the deck (really, it's completely lost!). You ask your spectator to imagine that she's tearing off a corner of the King of Hearts. You then ask her to imagine taping that corner to the back of the Five of Spades. The next time you select a volunteer for one of your magic routines, why not play a quick game of chance to decide who the volunteer's going to be? Yet . . . do so with total confidence that the person you want to use in your show is always the one who wins the game.

Here are two different versions where numbered word cards are selected by various members of the audience and then read aloud in numerical order by the audience members. From experience, it is strongly suggested that you consider using both versions in the same show. Both times you use these cards the audience laughs louder...

Scream then an eery silence! Show a zippo lighter (any lighter) and a box of matches. Have the spectator take out a match and close their hand around it. "Do you believe in voodoo!?" The spectator opens their hand to discover the match is now half burnt. Relight the half burnt match in their hands.

You show a set of JUMBO cards (or you can use regular cards) which you mix and give to a spectator, face up. The spectator, with the cards in his hands, now selects any one. This is a completely free choice! No Force.

Meanwhile you have been telling the audience that this packet of large cards contains both positive and negative energies. With a card chosen, you take the remaining cards and turn them face down and clearly show the backs of these cards - printed in bold lettering on each card is: NO - NO - NO and NO! .... All negative!

The effect is straight forward. Show a few tictacs on your hand and an empty tictacs box. Slam the container on your hand and make all tictacs jump into the container. Your hand is empty and the container filled with tictacs. If somebody would have counted the number of tictacs in the container is exactly the same as there were on the hand. You can handout the container with the tictacs for inspection or even as a gift.

A great mentalism effect for small groups to huge crowds.

Effect: A pile of cards with the name of a movie star on each one is shown to a helper. They remove one and it's placed into an envelope, whilst the magician turns away - the remaining cards are removed. It's a completely free choice.

There are no stacks, and no card set up - they can be freely shuffled by the spectator first. The cards are not marked. The envelope is 100% opaque. The spectator holds the envelope with their card inside, in front of their face - and the performer asks a member of the audience which movie the spectator...
