Paul Fleming wrote what some consider the best book reviews in magic ever. This is the collection of all three volumes, in total 167 book reviews. Many reviewers then and now chose to write largely very positive reviews, more like an ad rather than a critical review. Paul Fleming on the contrary wrote his true opinion and slammed a book if he thought it was garbage. That makes the reviews so valuable, because you get an honest and informed opinion.

The only danger in reading these reviews is that you will find many more books you will want to read.

A demonstration of "Invisible Palming" leads to a selection magically traveling into a wallet the spectator is holding. As a kicker, the selection is actually inside a folded photocopy of a hand with the selection printed on it. Commercial magic at its best.

Despite the strong effect this is relatively easy to intermediate level difficulty.

It is a long time since Simon Aronson rocked the magic world with "Shuffle-Bored". Variations by Harry Lorayne "Equaliser", Aldo Colombini "Pre-Deck-Ability", Ali Bongo, John Bannon "Wait Until Dark" followed.

A tribute to Percy Naldrett by Paul Gordon who shares birth place Worthing in Sussex with Percy. Includes photos and other bits and pieces of information not published anywhere else.

Percy Naldrett was born on 17th May 1888 and died 28th September 1973. He was a printer by trade and a semi-pro magician and collector. He wrote a number of books such as Magic of the Moment (1912, 50pp), Magical Notes and Notions (1913, 36pp), Miscellaneous Magic (1913, 48pp). He was editor of the Magic Circular from 1938-49.

You start out with four red backed Aces of Clubs, shown individually from the back and front. One of the Aces changes to a Queen of Hearts. The Queen of Hearts jumps to various places in the pack. For the climax all four cards change to the Queen of Hearts and also the backs change to blue backs. Does not use any gimmicked or gaffed cards. Can be done with jumbo cards as Paul demonstrates in the video.

Spectator freely chooses a card. The performer looses the card in the deck and takes the top 4 cards, and then shows each of the four cards as being the chosen card. Weird. For the finale the four cards turn into the four aces. A fast and very visual routine.

Capture all four aces, one by one, between two spectator selected cards - a repeat sandwich effect.

A working pro teaches you his most sought-after tradeshow stopper. Two spectators choose a card, they are lost in the deck. The performer places two cards into each spectator's hand. He thinks they are the correct selections but they are not. Magically they transform in the correct selections.

Mark explains how it is done but does not show the details of the moves he uses. You will need to be able to control a card to the top and be able to perform a double lift. That is all you need.
