A completely impromptu ACAAN routine in which a single card points in two directions.
The spectator freely selects two cards and they are returned to the deck and shuffled. The magician then has the spectator freely name another card, which is openly placed into the center of the deck. After being controlled to the middle, the value of the indicator card points left and right to reveal the spectator's two original selections.
Dominic has been active in magic for well over thirty years, having been a pupil of Fred Robinson.

He is the author of Impromptu Secrets, and Remembering Serena (a novel about a magician); and photographs of various parts of his anatomy have appeared with nauseous regularity in the American quarterly Body Freaks of Nature.
He is currently working on a book on the magic of Bruce Cervon.
This is Aldo's second volume of impromptu card tricks. Once again the rules that he required were simple: That the tricks be based on subtle moves and principles only rather than difficult sleights. Most importantly, the tricks had to be totally impromptu with no set-ups. Eventually he did, however, allow a few easy moves such as a card control, a force or a simple sleight; moves that still are very easy to master and perform.

The basic plot of the "Chamele Aces" was developed in the late 40s by Edward Marlo, who shared ideas about this motif with Neal Elias in 1949. Elias wrote notes regarding the methods they explored, which he and Marlo then filed away. Neither published the "work;" however, Marlo performed an impromptu version at a Pittsburgh magic convention in 1955. Earlier the same year, Roy Walton published his version of "Chamele Aces" in The Gen (February-1955: Volume 10 - Number 10).
The basic Chamele Aces plot is four red-back and four blue-back Aces transpose one at a time.

Annemann's Synthetic Sympathy is a long-regarded classic of card magic, with a history dating back to 1921 when Charles T. Jordan put out his original version.
