A simple and direct memory demonstration.

The professional-looking chart (meant to be on your phone but could be printed out) is handed to the subject in order to help test your memory ability with numbers. You mention that attempting to memorize the 51 seven-digit numbers, enhances your ability to ask questions, find insights, solve problems, critically think, and inspire creativity.

You hand them your phone with the chart, or a copy of the chart, and the subject chooses a section, say No. 45, and you begin calling out the 7-digit number in that section. Feel free to repeat the test...

Four double-blank cards are displayed. One is placed in view to one side while the other three are arranged in a column on the table. Four keys are shown, there being one each of red, blue, green and silver. A spectator selects one of the keys (let's say the green one) and it is dropped on top of the blank card just placed to one side. The other three keys are slipped into envelopes which are mixed by a spectator before being placed down next to the blank cards in the order they were mixed into.

The performer makes a magical gesture over the cards and on turning them over they are seen...

The last of 45 issues, volume 4 number 9 was published in 1988. Being a house organ there are of course lots of product advertisements but it also includes news, interesting photos, comments, trick patter and presentations, reviews, quips, tips, and other things about tricks and magicians.

This is an interesting compilation of material - a mix of short portraits and Goldston's personal recollections of various magicians - some famous, some not, as well as some of their tricks and secrets. The result is a fairly extensive collection of tricks of all kinds and denominations. Includes many illustrations and photos of the contributors.

The first edition was issued in the same style as Goldston's famous Locked Books series, but without the clasp.

Card to envelope.

A spectator gets the chance to perform his own magic trick. He genuinely freely selects any card and a sticker with his initials on is attached to the card's face. The card is then slipped into a pay envelope which has his initials added to the flap and address side to prevent it being switched out.

With a snap of his fingers, the spectator is going to attempt to make his signed card jump from the envelope and back into the deck's centre. However, after a couple of tries, nothing appears to have happened.
