The basic effect goes like this. Have a spectator choose any number from 1-52 (the number of cards in a regular deck). Let's assume the spectator chooses 16. Then have him or her select any card. Say the spectator chooses the Three-of-Hearts. Now the spectator counts to the 16th card in the deck and finds the Three-of-Hearts there. Impossible! But that is the effect. How you can achieve this and similar effects you will learn from the products in this category.

Slow ACAANGianluigi SordelliniEffect: A spectator selects a card, which they then lose in the deck themselves. The performer tries in vain to find it. To locate the card, the spectator randomly points to four cards, and at the total value indicated by these, the spectator's chosen card will be found exactly. This routine is a blend of two routines: one by Benjamin Earl and the other by Israel Rodriguez. 1st edition 2024, PDF 4 pages, 16 photos. | $5 to wish list
An ACAAN with a KickerDustin MarksAmong the hundreds of ACAAN effects, this one stands out. It offers a unique experience for the spectator that's far from boring. The spectator takes center stage, performing most actions, which makes the effect seem totally impossible. From the outset, the spectator isn't sure what to expect. The Number deck, different and intriguing, invites curiosity. It can be examined until rapture - it's not gimmicked. This effect is simple to perform, involving only one minor sleight - if you can even call it that and you can skip it if you want. For those considering learning a stack deck, this... | $14.95 to wish list

Triskaidekaphobia ACAANBiagio FasanoAn unprecedented effect of semi-automatic card magic, on the theme of Any Card At Any Number, in which the irrational dread for Number 13 is the protagonist. An all-new virtually self-working card magic trick in which the number 13 plays the leading role in an "Any Card At Any Number" effect: a spectator freely chooses which of the four Kings to eliminate from the deck. Then, from a dozen other cards at random, two will be chosen, whose sum of values will incredibly determine the number 13. A card of the same suit as the King chosen at the beginning will then be 'generated' and, magically... | $14.99 $9.99 to wish list
Some Suit of Value for an ACAANBiagio FasanoAn unprecedented Semi-Automatic A.C.A.A.N. effect that will amaze: a spectator freely chooses, from a few cards, one representing value, one for suit, and the sum of the values of the others will return the position in the deck in which the card will be found. The title plays on the words "Some Suit of Value", where "Some" is pronounced the same way as "Sum" and both "Suit" and "Value" can be referred to playing cards. In fact, this effect involves the spectator choosing after the deck has been shuffled and cut, from a group of six cards that will be drawn, one card that will represent... | $14.90 to wish list
Carta al numero ACAANGianluigi SordelliniEffect: From a deck of cards, the spectator selects a card and then loses it in the deck without showing it to anyone. The performer takes another deck of cards, shuffles it, and shows that each card is in a random position. He notices two twin cards in the center. Taking advantage of this, he says it's a sign of fate and that he will use the twin cards to find the selected card, even though he doesn't know what it is. He shuffles the deck again, and magically, the pair of twin cards capture a card, which turns out to be the twin of the chosen one. Undeterred, the performer adds the value... | $10 to wish list
Gambler's ACAANBiagio FasanoA novel semi-automatic effect in which a spectator rolls a pair of dice and freely chooses any card, to arrive at a random spot in the deck where two more cards will determine both a random card and a number where it will be magically found. A new semi-automatic card magic effect, where the magician, once introduced to an ordinary deck of poker cards, proceeds with a quick shuffle and finally hands it to a spectator, asking her to cut it into three parts. She shuffles the last one and chooses from it any card. Before turning it over, the magician announces that its value, added to that... | $9.99 to wish list
Roll & Stop ACAANBiagio FasanoA semi-automatic and completely impromptu Any-Card-At-Any-Number effect, in which a spectator rolls a pair of (imaginary) dice to draw a number, and randomly chooses a card, only to incredibly succeed in finding it, after the stop decided by the magician at the turning of the cards, at the very number he indicated. An almost self-working "Any Card At Any Numer" effect, always improvisable, where the magician, once introduced to an ordinary 52-card poker deck (minus the Jokers), even possibly borrowed, hands it to a spectator to shuffle freely. Having got the cards back, he hands the first... | $9.90 to wish list

ACAAN: another approach to an age-old plotUnnamed MagicianNote: For those of you who own ACAAN: A Fresh Approach to an Age-Old Plot, this uses a totally different principle. Imagine: The magician introduces a special deck of 52 cards, where each card is seen to have a number 1 through 52 printed on it. The spectators (two of them) are asked to verify that all the numbers are indeed different, that there aren't any duplicate numbers. The magician hands one spectator this special deck (in a face-down position) and says, "I want you to select a number 1 through 52. But instead of just thinking of a number 1 through 52, I want you to randomly select one. Like that, even you don't know... | $20 to wish list

Cape Canaveral Ritual ACAANBiagio FasanoThe title of this eBook contains the well-known acronym for Any Card At Any Number, and illustrates my latest original and self-working version of the famous David Berglas' card magic effect, here featuring an original presentation and a devastating final surprise for the audience. Cross the ACAANBiagio FasanoThis impromptu semi-automatic effect can be immediately performed in any situation in which a simple deck of cards is available. After having a spectator shuffle the deck, the magician will have her choose a number and a card in the most casual manner possible (by randomly raising two small packs of cards), have the viewer shuffle again and cut the deck several times, reassemble it, and propose to find her chosen card. But, after practically proving its impossibility by relying solely on chance or luck, he will remember that the spectator also secretly keeps a number in her mind and challenge... | $9.90 to wish list
ARCAANSBiagio FasanoThis is an amazing semi-automatic A.C.A.A.N. effect (the acronym stands for: Any Random Card At Any Numbers' Sum), requiring no stooges or any sophisticated technique. A case containing a deck of cards is placed by the magician in full view on the table, even before the effect begins. Spectators are asked to point to a card, starting with the suit and then deciding its value through two absolutely free choices of their own. Just to further demonstrate total arbitrariness, they are asked to point to some other value from 1 to 13 and the whole thing, including the previous choices, is noted... | ★★★★★ $9.90 to wish list

Selfworking Contactless ACAANBiagio FasanoA.C.A.A.N. effects are a genre of effects now considered classics in card magic and mentalism, ever since David Berglas, who precisely first proposed a legendary version of it, called it "Any card At Any Number." The idea of trying to write this special eBook came about while I was preparing my Contactless Automatic Card At Number series of Volumes (now at 6 Volumes) and experimenting in particular with the possibility of creating new automatic effects by making use of various stacks, including Si Stebbins and my VR Stack Pro (see Vol. 2 & 3): From here to examining the Si Stebbins Pro, devised by Dr. Hans Christian Solka, was a short step, and with pleasure... | ★★★★★ $15 to wish list
Die-Bolical ACAANBiagio FasanoACAAN is a genre of card magic and mentalism effect that has now become a classic since it was first proposed by the great David Berglas, who was the first to call it "Any card At Any Number". This version of mine is very easy to perform but, if well presented, will be likely to arouse great amazement among both magicians and lay audiences, and can be performed as well in Close-Up as on Stage. It simply requires an ordinary deck of 52 cards and possibly a pair of very ordinary six-sided dice (but it can also be just imaginary dice for each of which the spectators will decide the score), and you will... | ★★★★★ $15 to wish list
