Closely Guarded SecretsMichael Close... to every routine in CGS.
The next three chapters detail the three routines that were the backbone of my Houdini Lounge set.
The Trick that Lance Burton Showed Me demonstrates what happens when you live with a trick for 15 years. This is my handling and presentation for Dan Garrett’s Four Card Reiteration. I discussed this trick on one of the Very Very Close videos, but there is new work in this ebook.

College Bridge Series Second SemesterChris Hasney2nd semester contains only 11 prepared lessons, several of which can be assigned as homework reading. You now have two chances (one each semester) to qualify, but they occur much earlier in the calendar year in fall and winter. Adapt and overcome.

Conjurer DickProfessor HoffmannThis is a lovely story of a boy wizard growing up to become a conjurer. While this is not autobiographical, Angelo Lewis clearly incorporated aspects of his own experience and life into this novel. For example, one of his teachers of card sleight-of-hand, M. Charlier, makes an appearance as Monsieur Ledoyen. This was the first book that had his pseudonym, Professor Hoffmann, as well as his real name, Angelo J. Lewis, on the cover.
Interesting for magicians is that every trick that features in this novel is explained. While the explanations are not very detailed, they are enough to reveal... | ★★★★★ $6 to wish listPDF |
Cy Endfield's Entertaining Card MagicLewis GansonOriginally published by Harry Stanley in three separate parts (1955, 1956, 1958) this ebook is a complete remake of all three parts in one volume with new photos taken by Martin Breese and posed by Paul Gordon. The card magic presented is exceptional. It also explains all the basic moves Cy used to perform the tricks described. This classic trilogy therefore can serve as a wonderful introduction to card magic or be a treasure trove for those who are looking for some beautiful effects. You will find many well structured classics like Ambitious Card or Three Card Monte as well as some unusual effects.

Dai Vernon's Inner Secrets of Card MagicLewis Ganson & Dai Vernon This is the first part of Vernon's famous Inner Secrets of Card Magic series. It includes notable work on color changes. In "Dai Vernon's Colour Changing Pack" Vernon provides the proper motivation for the use of the Hindu Shuffle: showing the back color of the deck. "Emotional Reaction" is an example of a subtle and cunning use of a key card. Probably the best effect in this volume is the "Notis Stop Trick".

This is a collection of early Lybrary.com discs (CDROM, CD). Blackston Party Magic is an audio CD, the others are all CDROMs with HTML ebooks on it. Fundamental TechniquesRoberto GiobbiThis is the first lesson from Giobbi's Card College 1 & 2 Personal Instruction. It is made available free of charge so that you can experience the style of Giobbi's teaching and decide if you want to invest in the full course.
I personally think there is no better teacher of card magic alive today. Giobbi's style can at times be detail orientated, but then again if you want to reach the higher rungs of cardmanship, or cardwomanship, you need to pay attention to the details. Giobbi will take you by the hand and lead you through what can sometimes look like an impenetrable forest of moves, sleights, and techniques that look impossible... | ★★★★★ $0 to wish listMP4 (video) |
