Have a spectator select a card (for one version it is a free choice, for a second version it has to be forced), have it signed, apparently loose it in the deck, and then you either spring the cards onto your baseball cap, or fan the cards before the cap and the previously selected card will appear to be attached to the top knob of your baseball cap.

Ralf explains how you have to gimmick the cap, and he will demonstrate several ideas and handlings of how you can perform this routine.

This is a lovely story of a boy wizard growing up to become a conjurer. While this is not autobiographical, Angelo Lewis clearly incorporated aspects of his own experience and life into this novel. For example, one of his teachers of card sleight-of-hand, M. Charlier, makes an appearance as Monsieur Ledoyen. This was the first book that had his pseudonym, Professor Hoffmann, as well as his real name, Angelo J. Lewis, on the cover.

Here's a terrific, family-friendly, comedy bill in lemon effect that your audiences will love. A genuine dollar bill is borrowed from a spectator (no stooge) and signed or marked. Anyone wraps it in a borrowed handkerchief. Two lemons are then shown and one is selected (no force). The spectator himself places the lemon in his coat pocket. The borrowed bill vanishes from the hanky while the spectator is holding it. The man with the lemon cuts it open and finds the bill inside. You do not touch the lemon.
