A card is selected, returned to the deck, replaced in the box. The performer holds the box facing outward, his fingers positioned so that they encircle it. There seems no possible way for the selected card to escape. Despite this, the selected card is seen to rise up out of the box, right through the performer's index finger. Once the card protrudes from the box it is removed, spun on the finger, taken off the finger, and exhibited with a hole through the card's center.

This is a card punch 3D printed from durable plastic. A card punch is used to mark cards imperceptible to people who are unfamiliar with it. If you do not know how to use it this item is not for you. You will be better served to first read more about it and what can be done with it, for example in The Punch Letters. There will be no instructions supplied with the item.

The primary innovation in this model, besides that it is 3D printed, is a screw-needle combination which makes adjusting the depth of the punch a breeze. Simply turn the screw a bit more in or out to set the needle tip deeper or higher. If...

Arthur Buckley started to release his card problems in 1924 when two booklets with five problems each were released. Buckley also released individual problems in their own manuscript, together with explanations of moves. Later Dariel Fitzkee reprinted 12 problems in The Card Expert Entertains. And finally in 1930 Dariel Fitzkee published this series of 30 card problems including all the problems published earlier.

These are all wonderful sleight-of-hand effects with cards.

Have a spectator select a card (for one version it is a free choice, for a second version it has to be forced), have it signed, apparently loose it in the deck, and then you either spring the cards onto your baseball cap, or fan the cards before the cap and the previously selected card will appear to be attached to the top knob of your baseball cap.

Show four ten-spot cards all with red backs. Showing them again reveals a four of Spades with a big black dot on its face. Then there are several four of Spades with a big black dot. Suddenly a card has a different back but also a huge hole cut in the middle. When this card is turned face-up it reveals yet a different card. It is madness. Best to watch the demo video.
