The first part of a new card project including 3 new A.C.A.A.N. effects requiring no sleight of hands: C.O.C.A.I.N. ACAAN, Touchless C.A.D.N. ACAAN and X-MEN ACAAN. A new series of self-working card magic effects that will happen in your viewer's hands. No particular skill is required, just the ability to instruct and pay attention to what the viewer is doing...
In this first eBook you will find a PDF that will allow you to perform amazing simple and self-working "Any Card At Any Number" Effects.
These are the simple rules that all my effects obey in this project:
A modern version of this classic gaffed card. Detailed are the two methods: splitting cards and printing them yourself to achieve this mysterious effect. Included is a self-printed example. This card has a matte finish that is enhanced by the candlelight used to effect the transformation. This is a remarkable illusion that takes no skill and differs greatly from Hofzinser's original construction. As seen in the video, the image seems to melt from one card value to another. Simple in construction.

Just one card, merely thought of, mysteriously jumps from one packet to another.
Sound familiar? Of course, and there is no finer example of this treasured classic than Edward G. Brown's Wandering Card, published by Willane, back in 1952.
Usually presented as a stand-alone effect for the platform or stage, Brown's effect has lost none of its popularity over the ensuring years - spawning many variations that tackle the innate difficulty of the crucial packet switch. Unfortunately, many of these have proven to be, for one reason or another, impractical.

Look carefully because this effect is a real fooler. I have shown it to many magicians and no one of them had a clue. This is the perfect end to your sandwich card routine. It looks like real magic. The two queens inexplicably approach each other inside the card case to capture the card signed by the spectator. It looks amazing! Really easy to do. You have all the materials at home to build the gimmick. I am really proud of this routine. I show you how you can end clean.

The effects on the phone have become, for me, almost an obsession. I have, for now, collected more than 100 and, slowly, I am proposing them with these publications. Some draw inspiration from real "pearls" of great artists, which I allowed myself to face, with extreme humility, developing them with a new setting, sometimes adding some interesting details. Others are a little older, even centuries, maybe even well known, but they are often "disruptive" as never before. I share them with pleasure.
In this booklet you will find:
I WILL FIND YOUR CARD
It is said that the cards think to...
This is a delightful departure from the standard card effect due to its ingenious patter line and startling conclusion. First conceived in the 1970s, the visual of four "cannibal" cards devouring a pair of "missionary" cards stands out in the memory of spectators. A welcomed addition to your bag of tricks.

A great ebook for those interested in creating their own mechanical (rough and smooth) trick decks or restoring old ones.
The mechanical decks described in the first part of this ebook were brand new when first published, and represented a value - in today's dollars - of nearly $195 if purchased from a dealer. But that's not all. In this revised and expanded edition, you also get complete instructions for making your own Brainwave and Pop-Eyed Popper decks. While you can buy them ready-made from a dealer, making them yourself allows you to create custom decks, such as with airline or other...
Who among us is not familiar with injogs and outjogs? Since the days of Erdnase, these very handy adjuncts have helped enable magicians to turn out miraculous feats of card magic.
Card man Ian Baxter offers up an unusual use for the humble injog here in his latest manuscript. This is the venerable 'STOP' trick with a difference and you will be most impressed. Positively no complicated sleights or outrageous moves in this strictly commercial adaptation of a classic. Don't pass this one up!

The spectator's cut to the four sandwiches is a succession of magical effects. The magician takes his two lucky cards from the deck: the two of hearts and the two of diamonds. The spectator examines the two cards. The magician shuffles the deck and asks the spectator to cut it into four piles. This is where the fun part begins. Each time the magician approaches the two lucky cards to one of the piles, a card will mysteriously appear between the two lucky cards. The first will be a King, the second as well, and so on until you have the four Kings. It is not finished. Immediately the magician...
Find Me If You Can is a two-phase four-card mentalism routine that starts off with exploring the spectator's capability of finding their card using their subconscious mind and finishing off with the mentalist finding the card.

Reviving "Between the Palms" one of Alex Elmsley's most offbeat plots. This is sort of a "locked room" mystery with playing cards.
It is an offbeat plot because the implicit aspects of effect, particularly its climax, are not immediately understood or appreciated. Yet the effect still has an emotional impact. Compared to other card tricks being done in 1952 it was very different. (Perhaps its closest cousins may be Fred Braue's "The Prechosen Chosen Card" from The Gen (February 1962) or Brother John Hamman's "Signed Card.")
Effect: The performer removes a card from the deck and, without showing its face, places it between...
3 cards are shown and a joker is openly placed in various places amongst the cards, for example on top, in the middle, and at the bottom. Magically the joker always returns to its original position. The audience soon suspects that 3 identical cards are being used, and at one point even see 3 jokers. Eventually the magician admits that he has 3 identical cards and suddenly all 3 cards change to mirrors. 3 identical mirrors and no jokers anywhere! Isn't that how most tricks work? With mirrors?
This is a snappy, fun, and magical routine with a tremendous unexpected, surprise ending. You learn...
It is almost impossible to imagine any card expert worth his salt to have either ignored or overlooked Double Reverse. Here is a firm favourite that has entertained audiences for decades. Now, Australian card man Ian Baxter steps forward with a brand-new approach that will knock your socks off. Two cards chosen, one by spectator, another by the performer, then in the blink of an eye they both reverse in the deck. But here is the cruncher: Baxter's handling allows the effect to be presented, believe it or not, in well under one minute! Not be missed and a bargain at just $4.00.

The effect on the phone has always intrigued me: you cannot arrange the cards, nor do you see them, the deck is that of the spectator, you cannot touch it or see it. Then there is an insurmountable difficulty: you have to explain each operation in a simple, step-by-step way and, not being able to visually check, you are forced to prepare, in the presentation, control "stakes"; all this, however, provided that your description is perfect and, at the same time, flawless, without danger of misunderstanding.
And then there is the "revelation" mode: it can only be presented as an effect of mentalism,...
Two DIY card-marking systems for the ones who like to take things into their own hands. Pigment & Pixel 3.0 has two marking systems designed for the standard Bicycle Rider back design. Information for both value and suits are marked on one square-centimeter area of the card making it easy to identify the card at one go. The marks are on the side border area for one of the systems while it is towards the center for the other.
Note: This download consists of only the marking systems and does not come with any tricks for a marked deck.

Due to the "fault" of the lockdown, I began to collect effects to present on the phone to my friends, using their deck of cards or the objects at their disposal, without any possibility for me to intervene, except by carefully checking the game instructions. Many are the mathematical principles used, some "old" of a few centuries, others revised over time, others, contemporary, just as original. I tried, for each of them, to invent a story, a suitable setting, which was unique and original, fantasy, and which was consistent with the operations that performer and spectator were going to perform,...
International award-winning Australian magician Joel Howlett was a very close friend to the late Jim McKeague. Jim was not only a magician but also a magic historian and author of The Best 200 Tricks With A Svengali Deck.
Joel has taken the time to describe three of the routines ('Jack And His Dog', 'Ten Card Poker' and 'The Three Card Trick') that he and Jim worked on together. Joel has also attempted to include some of the advice and tips Jim lovingly shared with him. The result was this PDF book.
PLEASE NOTE - The ebook is aimed at the intermediate magician as some of the more basic card moves are not described in detail.

An entertaining monte effect where the spectator, not the performer, switches the positions of the cards (which may be borrowed).
Here's another mental stunner by Bob Hummer and it's one of the most baffling he's ever released. Briefly, it can be done with any deck, and only three cards are used - any three cards. The performer does not switch the cards around, as in the regular monte. It's the spectator who mixes the position of the cards - while the performer's back is turned. After the cards are mixed as much as desired, the spectator peeks at one card, remembers it, and then makes a...
A new strategy to perform the legendary ACAAN effect. A fascinating principle that will allow you to perform a surprising effect without sleight of hand, completely self-working. A deck of cards with some numbers written on the back. One spectator chooses any card, another spectator chooses any number! 6 beautiful effects that are stronger than The Hulk!
When I was a kid, I purchased magic books from the 1800s by Prof. Hoffman, Herrmann, Jean Robert-Houdin, and a host of other magicians who I've never heard of before ... these books were old, with very yellowed, brittle pages, with artwork that was quite intricate and very Victorian.
But what stood out most to me, were how many times these books would mention performing in, or retiring to "the drawing room" ... this term really intrigued me.
These stellar effects within, will "spark" those magical times in your lives that have lasted us for so many years.
