In this article Adelaide Herrmann provides some tips on how to palm a coin and billiard balls. There are several photos showing her palming and producing billiard balls. I don't think anybody could really learn from this short article, but Adelaide Herrmann was a formidable manipulator and conjurer in general and the tips she provides are spot on.

These are the instructions for Max Maven's trick Mixed Emotions. The props (a small booklet and seven cards) are not included. However, once you know the details of the effect and have read the instructions you could make these up yourself. Or perhaps you have only the props and the instructions are missing.

A borrowed ring is magically removed from one of several loops of rope and replaced on a different loop.

The Pelli Spread is a move that allows you to show several cards in a spread or small fan while hiding one card. A similar type of move, although the mechanics are different, is the Ascanio Spread.

You show, one by one, red and black cards perfectly mixed. That is, you show a red card, then a black card, then a red card, a black card, and so on, until you have shown 8 cards. But when you are done with showing the interleaved cards they are already separated.

This count is perfect for an oil and water routine or any other situation where you need to show cards mixed, but in the process of showing them mixed, they are being separated.
