Remote Propless Prediction 2
Unknown Mentalist
You need not have Remote Propless Prediction to learn and use the routines in this manuscript. But by learning both, you will have a far wider range of routines in this category.
The performer asks a participant to play an imaginary game over a voice phone call. The participant may be thousands of miles away at the other end of the call. The participant makes several free choices but all in her mind alone, she does not say anything out loud. But the final result is already predicted by the performer in a very innovative manner.
The climax can be very visual if you choose that option in performance. The participant...
Hot Heat
Eddie Joseph
Please note that the chemicals used for this effect are toxic. We provide this ebook for historic and informational purposes only.
This effect has also been marketed under the title "Fascination". A crumpled piece of foil taken from a chocolate wrapper or from a cigarette packet is given to a spectator to hold. The magician strikes a match; he makes hypnotic passes toward the flame of the match and the ball of crumpled paper that the spectator is holding. As he does so, the spectator feels the silver paper getting hotter and hotter until eventually it is so hot that he has to drop it. It's...
A Little Magic Among Friends
Will Dexter
Excerpt from the Preface:
So it's a mixed bag. But all the tricks have one thing in common; each can be performed to a small audience in the home. One or two (I have "Pseudo-Graphology" and "Question and Answer" especially in mind) are good for performance to a larger audience, as well as to just half a dozen friends.
Every one has been thoroughly tried out and is practical and entertaining. According to your personality and style, I am sure you will find something in this book to entertain your audiences.

Pure Cards Across
Mark Leveridge
Two sets of 10 cards are counted out fairly and openly onto a spectator's hand before being dropped into two glass tumblers where they can be clearly seen. One at a time three cards are invisibly moved from one glass to the other, and when the piles are counted back onto the spectator's hand again, the first glass only contains 7 cards and the other 13.
This is the classic cards across effect using a method that is completely move and sleight free. Everything happens at fingertips and there is no palming required, nor any special counts. Designed for a close-up or intimate parlour show,...

The Professional Worker Series - Volume 6
Sit back and relax as I read the complete contents of this fascinating e-book to you. It's a great way to absorb and enjoy the contents whether you are at home, in the garden, driving the car or exercising in the gym.
In this Learning From Experience Audio Book I look back over my 40 years of full-time professional experience and identify 20 key things about performing commercially for lay people that I wish I had known when I started.
Organising these into 20 key facts, I explain the lessons that I have learned in this rich period of experience...
Diebolique
Unknown Mentalist
Diebolique uses a single ungimmicked die to perform a fantastic effect. It uses a well-known property of a die as a completely novel and potent force.
Let us say you are on a voice phone call with a friend who may be hundreds or thousands of miles away. You propose to perform an experiment over the call itself and your friend agrees. All that is required is that your friend at the other end should have a die with him. From your end it can be totally propless.
In the routine, you apparently use your "yugen" ability to divine an impossible piece of information by apparently listening to...
Bernstein Center Tear Technique
Bruce Bernstein
Imagine a technique that is totally impromptu, can be done surrounded with borrowed materials, and no evidence of trickery can be found. Imagine having someone print any piece of information on a borrowed slip of paper, which is then folded and torn to shreds. Yet you can instantly announce just what was written on it.
1st edition 1980, 18 pages; PDF 20 pages.
MPAC 2
Unknown Mentalist
You can almost proplessly divine the exact date of birth of an utter stranger in under a minute. This routine works best in a one-on-one situation where the performer has met the participant for the very first time. And you can also, if you want, instantly repeat it for different people in the same group of audience. This impromptu routine is a lot of fun to do.
You do not need to have MPAC to learn and perform this one.
With this routine you prove to the participant that based on a few general characteristics related to her you are able to divine her exact birthday. This is the opposite...
Florentine Coin Assembly - Music Act
Giacomo Bertini
An amazingly beautiful master coin act performed to music.
I am very happy to show and explain this routine. This is a new version of my original routine, Florentine Assembly. I think this version is definitely better than the original one. At the beginning of the routine, I added a new production of 4 coins, using new techniques I have created in the last years. Very importantly: you'll find a new method for the final climax of the Jumbo coin. And thanks to this amazing method, and with this new version, the routine becomes a "coin- act", which can be presented live in any situation!

Word-Up
Graham Hey
Easy to do mentalism effects.
Word-Up is a word prediction where a spectator selects any magazine from a selection, any two numbers are called out and the word on that page and line is remembered. The performer reads their mind and writes down the exact same word. Then he asks the spectator to flip through their magazine and remember any famous landmark they see ... the performer draws his in advance. He's correct again. It's so easy to do. You'll have to buy a few magazines to make this, but it's worth it. Perfect for stand-up.
Then there's Where's the Balloon? Perfect for close-up or...
The Ring Competition
Mark Leveridge
There are many ring and rope routines in print and there are a whole host of ingenious moves which a performer can use. But if we are honest with ourselves, how many of these routines can really be said to be entertaining to a lay audience? Often the presentation is all but forgotten and so the routine becomes simply an exhibition of clever handling and little more.
I wanted to find a way of involving an audience in a ring and rope routine so that it would leave them entertained as well as fooled, and The Ring Competition is the answer I came up with. One of the great assets of this presentation...
Emunsoc
Biagio Fasano
Easy miracles using a new stack of cards.
This eBook collects a series of no less than seven tricks that are very simple to perform in front of one's audience, but all very impressive. All this is only possible thanks to a particular pre-arrangement of the pack of cards, derived from Si Stebbins but which, unlike it, will not be recognizable even to the majority of magicians, appearing on first examination to be entirely similar to a real shuffled deck. I have called this pre-order: VR Stack Pro and I will describe it extensively on the following pages.
Below you will find the effects...

Vanishing Easter Bunny
Peter Prevos
An Easter magic trick.
A new design for an old geometric vanish. 11 bunnies change into 10 bunnies and an Easter egg by merely switching the order of two pieces of cardboard.
The PDF includes the design. Print on paper or cardboard and cut out the three pieces to perform this little miracle.
1st edition 2023, PDF 2 pages.
John Ramsay's Cylinder and Coins
John Ramsay & Victor Farelli
A classic routine explained in detail with almost 50 photographs.
Excerpt from the preface by John Ramsay:
It is now over fifty years since I started to experiment with the Cap and Pence trick, and I have worked out several methods of using the standard apparatus.
The present routine, lucidly and minutely explained by Victor Farelli, is not the result of a "brain wave" it was gradually evolved by a process of trial and error, and I trust that the reader will decide to study it thoroughly and that he will add it to his programme.
For the last thirty years, or more, it has been one...
DNR: Do Not Resuscitate
Matthew Benjamin
The "ultimate" fishing stack!
Using an ungimmicked deck of cards you can have a participant select, think, deal down to or look at one or two cards in the deck. You instantly start to describe aspects of the cards until you reveal both.
I truly believe this to be the ultimate fishing deck ever devised using a normal deck. No markings, no rough and smooth, no short cards, no misprints. Use a 100% normal deck.
Comes with two routines to get you started and some tips on how to present fishing questions.
1st edition 2023, PDF 7 pages.

Sam's Scrapbook 3
Sam Dalal
This is my third Scrapbook composed in this month (March 2023). Even though when I mull over my commercial effects and magazine contributions from the decades gone by, the volume of material seems ample for a few more.
But everything I wrote or created is not worth recording or re-publishing in this collection. I found two big files chock-a-block full of the magazine articles I wrote for most of the magic magazines in the 1970's and 80's. About 2/3rds of these are not worth republishing, being my ideas on some dealer prop I purchased, or another magazine article. They would serve no purpose...
