Multiple outs is one of the oldest, classic, and powerful tools in mentalism. Several classic effects and routines in the history of mentalism and magic are built around multiple outs. Some of the standard tools like a pocket index were born out of this very concept of multiple outs.
In this manuscript, we will explore the 'DOUBT' method for constructing multiple outs. This is a technique or strategy which makes multiple outs much easier and more effective for many situations. This technique uses double blank business cards and uses the core nature of these double blank cards very potently....
Here's what your audience sees: You take a stack of business cards and show them on both sides then hand one to a volunteer to draw a picture, write a word, print a number, or even write a question, there are no restrictions. The stack is turned blank side up and their card dropped drawing side down on top. It is then fairly cut to the center where it remains reversed in the middle at all times.
Even under these conditions you can get a full card peek, reveal the information and yet still show their card reversed in the center whenever you wish.
Finally, you run through the stack and...
The Four Mystery Presents: Influence is a follow-up effect from a previous release. It is a three-phase card-matching mentalism routine that demonstrates your ability to influence the cards of the participant.
This effect exploits the different uses of my newly developed method featured in my book The Four Mystery Presents: Remote Viewing. The method enables you to have the participant mix the cards, and yet, the mentalist is still able to determine and control the possible outcomes.

Trickey is an ungimmicked keychain with a miracle built into it. Ungimmicked in any mechanical, electronic, or magnetic way. So it will last you for many years of performances without the need for any refills or consumables. The size is about 1.5 inches square. So it can be easily and comfortably carried in your pocket. But it is designed in an unusual manner so that it first starts a conversation and then ends with an impossible miracle. You can carry your car keys, house keys, or any other keys on this keychain.
With this keychain in your pocket, you are always ready to perform a miracle...
One of New York's busiest psychic entertainers reveals his complete, audience-tested 60-minute mentalism act in complete detail. This act plays strong and leaves audiences breathless. It's as close to a genuine demonstration of ESP and psychic ability as is possible. Ideal for private parties, this routine is designed from the ground up to dazzle the audience and most of all, entertain them. And don't be surprised if the spectators credit you with powers far beyond those of mere mortals, the routine is that powerful.
Partial contents:
This manuscript explains two interesting and useful forces with dice. Normal ungimmicked dice. One of the forces can even be done without actual dice - with just imaginary dice. So obviously, this force will find many uses in propless effects. The other force needs a couple of actual dice - ordinary and ungimmicked. Both the forces can be performed in face-to-face situations, in virtual shows, or even over voice phone calls.
You are sure to find several uses and applications for these forces. However, to get you started the following 3 routines are explained.
Medium can be made with any deck of cards. The spectator thinks any card and the magician will be able to find it. The conditions are impossible. Medium is a real pearl to add to your repertoire. Easy to do. Not only will you be able to amaze laymen, but you will be able to fool fellow magicians, too. Requires no memory or sleight-of-hand.

Two mentalism card routines.
Cut It Out
The spectator is asked to cut a regular packet of cards and to complete the cut by placing the bottom half on top. The performer ribbon spreads the cards face-down onto the table, inviting the spectator to slide any card from within the spread. The selection is at this stage kept face-down with its identity remaining unknown.
The packet is once again gathered up before the spectator is asked to again cut the deck into two piles. The position cut to is marked by placing the lower half of the deck onto the upper at a right angle. The selected card...
The mentalist and participant play a card game involving rock, paper, scissors. Even though the participant makes all the decisions throughout the game, the mentalist ends up always right.
This effect requires you to have custom cards made. You can either use the template provided in this ebook or create your own custom cards using props that are common to every magician and mentalist.

The Kryptic Force is an easy yet powerful force but very little known in the field of magic or mentalism. As with any force, here too the applications of the force are limited only by your imagination. A few interesting routines and effects are shared here. But you can surely come up with many of your own routines using this beautiful force.
The actual process to force is very fast and direct. Maybe, depending on your presentation, it may take all of fifteen seconds to perform the force. Or you can stretch it for as long as you want. This is not a psychological force. The Kryptic Force...
"Thought Swiper is fantastic! I wish I'd thought of this! There is no faster way to get to the thought-of card. Absolutely wonderful!" - Bob Farmer
"I think it's so damn clever and honestly I've been having so much fun with it. It's an amazing little device and once magicians find out about it will carry it with them at all times." - Paul Romhany
"Patrik abhors memory work and mental arithmetic on stage. In "Thought Swiper" a fiendishly clever print gimmick strips a powerful principle older than Professor Hoffmann's Modern Magic (1876) of all its fussy calculations and memorization. The prop visually integrates all the...
What is "Bending Minds"?
In this ebook, which will be structured in three volumes, you will see us use cards and simple pieces of paper, to develop mentalism effects that can be conducted live in person, or proposed at a distance, with a video connection or just audio (Zoom, Skype, Meet, etc., or even just on the phone), without the performer being able to see the cards, which are always handled by the viewer.
All descriptions come with a presentation, which is also original, very detailed, and inspired by movies, games, books, or just a simple emotion. A precious dress to be worn whenever...
Person of Interest is an upgrade to the original effect "Mental Assassin." This is a pocket mentalism effect that fits inside your wallet that can be performed anytime, anywhere. The participant thinks of a word and a person associated with the chosen word and the mentalist is able to identify both every time.
The method used in this effect is based on one of my newly developed principle for identifying chosen words or objects without the obvious interrogation.
"Clever - I like how you are...

Here, Doug MacGeorge presents a streamlined version of his famed "30 Second Memorized Deck." Demonstrate to your audience that you can memorize a deck of cards in about 30 seconds:
A multi-phase telepathy or telempathy routine that is unique, entertaining, and profound.
A volunteer selects several random objects on which to focus attention and memory. Sitting back-to-back with no possibility of visual cues of the objects or body language, the performer reveals glimpses of information received through mind-to-mind communication. There are multiple sensory events with different depth and clarity, always different in each presentation. The audience members are participants and not just observers and also serve as referees.
This is a stripped-down version of a routine...
The mentalist invites four spectators for a drawing experiment. Three of them are asked to draw while the fourth spectator acts as a medium between the mentalist and the other three spectators. The mentalist is able to identify the owner of the drawings, including the chosen drawing of the fourth spectator, and then finally, the mentalist demonstrates his skill in drawing duplication.
Fogel's original patter, presentation, handling, and routine are all here. It's an effect that helped take Fogel to the top. It can do so for you.
A trick that took Fogel into many newspaper headlines. This is Fogel's original creation. You walk into any room and ask any person present to collect a few different newspapers ... any type ... any date. Whilst this is being done you write a prediction on a slate, board, or piece of paper according to the conditions under which you are working. This prediction is left in the possession of a spectator. They now select one of the newspapers...
In many mentalistic effects, the spectator answers the performer's questions in a sincere way or not, without the performer knowing the choice made.
The concept of "lie or truth" makes the effect stronger and the idea that the illusionist guesses however reinforces the memory of an effect as an exceptional event, almost a miracle.
In the effect presented here, a further degree of freedom has been added: after the first response, the viewer can decide whether to maintain the same behavior (lie / truth) or if he prefers to change it.
In practice, the two answers can be LIE / LIE, TRUTH...
This was originally published under the title Hummer's Dial A Date Deal.
Where will you go on your dream vacation? Paris? London? Madrid? Come Fly With Me is a stunning psychic mystery using Bob Hummer's ingenious method to name a mentally selected vacation destination with no questions asked and nothing written down.
A spectator lays out a number of cards - some face-up, some face-down. The choice of cards and positioning is up to him. A second row of cards is also laid out. The performer does not at any time see the order of cards. The spectator then selects the name of one of a number...
