In 1998 the name of the magazine started it's transformation. Club 71 was expanded to Club 71 Magician's Magazine About 20 issues later it was Club 71 For The Magician. And another 20 issues later it was The Magician until it's last issue in 2007.
Despite its irregular appearance it contains wonderful material that has long been forgotten.

Contributors include: Max Maven, Peter Duffie, Patrick Page, Al Smith, Angelo Carbone, Ian Rowland, Werner Miller, Peter Kane, Paul Hallas, Stephen Tucker, Ali Bongo and many more. The subjects discussed span everything from mentalism and cards, to magic for children and close-up.

If you have attended your fair share of conventions you will probably laugh a lot. I am not sure why this is in particular targeted at the IBM. Less than well organized conventions are not limited to any organization.
